Well we have a chance to go second but it would involve us winning by 7 goals and Fulham losing by 5....

It only took the Chinese 10 days to build a hospital so 18 months to steal the land and build a stadium should be a piece of stale cake.
The moral of the story? Send the feckers to China.

Sound. Thanks but I was wondering what the sags record was.
I'm looking at relegation seasons now 1980/81 was spectacular. They didn't win in the league until November (15 MATCHES - I think we have a winner). Had a bit of a cup run which spoilt it a little.
https://www.11v11.com/teams/bristol-rovers/tab/matches/season/1981/
After that Watford win they didn't win for another 14 matches Bloody hell one win in the first 30 league games of a season? What was the suicide rate in north Bristol in 1981 anyone know?
Our season wasn't much better mind....
1992/93 relegation - the odd win here and there, no long winless runs
2000/01 relegation - as above (lost 6 of the last 10 games)
2010/11 relegation - already mentioned winless for 10 in the middle of the season, no win in last 6 games)
2013/14 relegation - everyone's favourite season Only 2 wins in the last 12, the win at Wycombe giving them so much hope only for disaster against a team wearing their own kit, marvellous.
Their league record for 2014/15 is my favourite thing on this website

That season they were top 2 for for most of the season and thet went on a losing streak, i recall they lost at cardiff and didnt make the play offs.
I think it was the season pulis was here, they had a real bad run then.
That was 1999/2000 but they had one win in the middle of the last ten games (W1 D3 L6)

In 1961/62 they lost their first seven games of the season!

Currently 14 in all competitions? I'll continue to trawl through this for a worse run

I found this which I think shows 12 games in 2010/11 as the longest in recent times.
Even in the great 2013 /14 season they only managed 10, so this season is worse than that, having not won in 11.
Another interesting stat that season (2013/14) was the bumper crowd on the last day .... obviously swelled by all those gert teds in the away end.
I'll keep looking for more evidence because .... well I can't sleep anyway so it's keeping me occupied

I'd love to hear what these air-heads are saying now
QuoteAdam Bushell: Very happy with this!
Tom : Alright let’s get behind him and see where we can go this season. In a great position to push on.
Jamie Stockley : Announce Manse as his assistant.
Sam : Great appointment.
Dan Wright : Welcome to the Gas Ben! It’s a special club. Take care of it.
Damian : Fantastic appointment well done.
Bradley Kitchen : Give him something to play with in January and let's actually push for promotion.
Macey : Welcome to Bristol Rovers Ben, not a bad first managerial job.
Tommy Lawlor : Class appointment and keeping the back room staff on as well is amazing for the squad harmony. Great stuff Gas. Let’s do this. Ben Garner's barmy army.
Daniel Sheppard : Good appointment, hopefully he doesn’t tweak too much.
BlueSideOfTown : Happy with this, Good luck Ben, you’re at a fantastic club and will get the fullest support from us Gasheads.
Lucas Swain : Think this is a cracking appointment by the sounds of things.
Josh Gardiner : Time to take us up lad.
Ian Lewis : You’ve spelt Ian Holloway wrong.
Daniel : Funny way of saying Ian Holloway.
John Hallet : Who.

Never been a rioter but was present at the 'goings on' at Reading, Swindon, Plymouth, and even Torquay - after the game (Nolan sister, made the papers)
Also on the train to York, as mentioned above, but remember that as a good day out and very peaceful except the first City fan off the train at York ran across the platform shouting, BRRRISSSSSSSSSSSTOL, and was promptly rugby tackled to the ground by police and arrested.
Always thought that was a long way to go to be arrested within 30 seconds!
That York train 'special' trip is a fond memory as well. Being told to "Get oover by t'wall" by the foreign northern police was hilarious at the time. I seem to remember a longer than usual stop at Derby station. The noise coming from the train was something to witness. "City are back City are back, hallo, hallo" . Happy days.

My first away day. My first CATS experience. Absolute mayhem. People on the roof of the stand. People with blood streaming out of their heads. Literally raining coins. I remember a policeman's helmet landing at my feet and picking it up and throwing it back to him and a huge cheer going up. Absolutely horrendous behaviour. Hooked for life. CTID.

They have a reason to hate every club in the football league. Conversely fans of every club in the football league think that they are wonderful.
