I can't quite make out what it says on on the flag ... I'm going to guess at "Make Us Red" ... any other ideas?

Blackburn and Wigan coming up .... tough opponents for City in the Championship next season especially with some pretty decent teams coming down with their parachutes! Unlike the rest of you, I went to the Mem today. Brilliant atmosphere ... old fashioned terrace .. unlike the now sanitised Ashton Gate as my son said. And those who talk about the 45,000 whatever. Remember the ground up in Whorefield is always 95% full.
A couple of points you make are highlighted
old fashioned terrace - it really is only a few steps I would never describe that as an old fashioned terrace
always 95% full - if by always you mean the past season or so?

Was there too...remember a banner saying...'so Jesus said come forth...and so we did'! Think it was Trevor Morgan who got both goals?

People are forgetting that Steve Lansdown used to regularly stand on the terraces in the noughties. I remember Wycombe and Peterboro away as particular examples. He's moved on a bit since then.

These are becoming classics in their own right "We're so inconsistent, at times" ....so sometimes they are consistent and at least they are not consistently inconsistent

Someone's bullshitting then...
I'm thinking at 7:15pm the saggies were taking advantage of the wonderful pre-match facilities at the Mem

Dunno what the split actually was but I was driving home from work around 7.15 tonight and the bloke on the radio said there were as many Swindle as Sags in the ground. WOW...!

Amazing to think we might have world cup winners who were born after the gap was created.
My point in a nutshell (but you don't need to know how I spend weekends!)

Let's hope the occasion can be marked by the Under 17s winning the world cup!
