Well the time is nearly here, will this thread turn into a “fair play City” or “you’ve gotta be joking” thread? Probably something in between I’m guessing.

Anyone know what we we are expecting cost wise? I’ve absolutely no idea but if I was guessing I’d say a small rise, maybe 3% but with an added gimmick, food voucher maybe. Maybe not.

Yes I was thinking an announcement must be imminent. I wonder how many have already made their minds up, how many will almost immediately make their final decision once they see the numbers in black and white and how many will sit on it until the last possible day. This time last year I was very enthusiastic at renewing and so disappointed I’ve fallen back into that weird feeling of reluctantly shelling out £560 for something that’s supposed to be fun.

I was only saying his record of scoring with his head was as good as Flints but yes, as much as I loved Flint in that promotion season, overall I prefer Dickie.

Dickie is a brilliant threat with his head in the opposition box, as good as Flint, maybe even Mick Harford……..or maybe not but still very good.

Found myself looking for excuses not to go. Weather? Looks dry and mild. Roads? Looks all clear. Mothers day? Sadly no longer with us. Thats it then, off I go again. This time we’ll all be rewarded with a fine win against the Welsh……….or maybe a draw.

Well that’s true. I’m not close enough to the club or know anyone in the club to be sure. We were dreadful for decades at bringing youngsters through, then all of a sudden we were one of the best. I don’t really know who does and doesn’t deserve credit for that.

I half expected him to say “everyone was delighted when I scored the winner against Liverpool, why are they moaning now?” Lets be honest, he’s done a lot of good things in his long time at Bristol City, personally I’d hate for him to leave as a villain. Maybe this is all Jon’s fault again, I don’t know, I just wish we could re set back to when we were all, except maybe Jon and a few others, pulling in the same direction.

Watched both LM and BT interviews, how much longer are both going to be living off the Southampton game? Is that all we can look forward to now, a few decent performance's against good sides in amongst dreary dross the rest of the season?

The one positive thing I can see strangely is our dreadful run of four defeats and the general bad showing in the form leagues. But despite the bad run, which all mid table teams have and eventually come to an end, somehow we’ve still got ELEVEN teams below us. It would be very unusual for us to carry on that form for another 10 games. To go through that form and remain that high up the league is enough to quell my fears.

I’d be worried if it was just Wednesday and QPR between us and Rotherham but there’s 7 other teams too. They've all got to continue to pick up more points than us as well. I think we’ll be a 3-5 points above the drop, which I don’t think will be more than 50.

Amongst all the moans, something I find I’m doing more the older I get, I do also like to offer praise where it’s due. And I must say on the occasions I’ve had to buy tickets this season, away games and cup games, the online service has been excellent. Literally a couple of minutes and all done each time.

Next season’s season ticket details will be announced soon. The club certainly won’t want to be doing that on the back of 5 straight defeats. I’m predicting we’ll end our run of defeats with a 1-1 draw

Agree, a lovely lady to chat to but you do feel you’re in the presence of royalty while doing so.

I find there’s always a handful, sometimes more, of tickets going spare on the day of the game. I've travelled some long distances, occasionally from abroad, without a ticket to sold out matches and have always got in to the game. keep an eye on here and social media, usually most become available in the 48 hours before the game. Not many are buying today and suddenly realising they can’t go. Good luck.

I’m not a fan of this name calling and rudeness towards Jon and Brian. It never makes for a balanced argument and kind of dilutes the sensible, well written arguments against their handling of things.
