Fabulous film. I went to see it at the iMax on the Southbank this afternoon. I don't know why they bother with a biopic…actual footage is so much better.

My dad met Liam Brady and Frank Stapleton down the Eurocrest before/after a City game, back when we were in the first division. They signed the back of a photograph of my dad’s forehead (?)?, Liam Brady quipped, “that looks like me.” It was after Arsenal won the FA Cup v Man Utd., because I knew who Liam Brady was.

I remember there being an issue with the train company a couple of years ago (because they are so useless), thousands of Villa fans were left trapped at the station because the train decided not to turn up. is it Southern who runs it?

He’s upped a gear because the team has. He now fits the tempo and style of play of the team. He somehow looked disjointed last season (not necessarily his fault) with how we were set up. Sometimes it’s was so slow! He’s now been allowed to flourish. I felt for him last season. That was like a ‘holding’ season…waiting for the right time etc for TC etc to break through.
