  1. I've been to Morzine twice, it's a great area. Buddha Bar? Avoriaz too! It's been such along time since I went skiing, I've forgotten where I've been.
  2. we went to Pamporovo in Bulgaria in 1991, 10p for a bottle of beer, 40p for spirits. I spent £10 in the whole week . There was only eight ski lifts, and only three hotels but we had an absolute ball! Yes, you're right about the Alps, fabulous skiing. I really want to go next year, haven't been since 2013.

  4. I was in BS4 (twice) and now in BS31, and it's scorchio
  5. I do too! I'd like to see the full kit… * Worn with white shorts and brown socks. Would've like to see black shorts
  6. I wasn’t really concentrating if truth be known…I think most of it was the interviewer asking the question and MA nodding, fixing him with his beady eyes, then sighing. I think I was concentrating more on his beard, and thinking how much he’d changed since his arrival in BS3*. was it bullshit 3?
  7. Probably be better to link local emergency services instead of a pension fund miles away. Could still reference it as the initial focus but then link it to Ipswich itself, people will get on board with it more.
  8. It’ll be grape flavor-aid at half time next…
  9. Bellend, of course! What did he say? I could only listen for 40 seconds, luckily most of that was a big sigh…
  10. I went there twice, I think, early 90s and late 90s. Good fun, not exactly massive ski area but we had a good time. We had the smallest apartment for six people. yes.
  11. yes, can't remember the year exactly…1998? Viva le Schuss Bar Wet feet est arrivee!
  12. Ravanelli always reminds me of pas de la Casa… @CyderInACan
  13. yes we did. The whole design of their shirt looks unbalanced.
  14. it does look very cheap, would be so much better without the stripe across the front.
  15. I went past there the other day with some friends from uni…”ooh I remember going in there EVERY week…?” #20/20 ???
  16. Hopefully it’s improved dramatically
  17. Sounds fab. I always think the Llandoger should be so much better, considering it’s history. I think it was part of a hotel chain but not sure who owns it now.
  18. Wow! The interior looks fab. https://pubheritage.camra.org.uk/pubs/41
  19. No, don't think so. I was down near there last week…
  20. Oh yes, only been in there once (about 20 years ago!)
  21. I bet some of those were terrifying! I thought you were going to mention The Stars?
  22. Does it matter? I don't think so! ?
  23. Sad, isn't it. Quite common, I think. I've got a Bristol Pubs poster from mid 90s, some great pubs on there now sadly gone. My friend Alan, I used to work with, seemed to know every pub in Bristol. Anytime you'd mention an area of Bristol or a specific street, he'd regale some story about his visit to a pub there…
