  1. So glad I don't have to listen to this kind of commentary every week
  2. I don't remember much of the game, I had a massive migraine. It was so loud in the Atyeo. But I do remember walking back to the Centre to get a bus (probably(?)) and the Keep the Red Flag Flying song ringing in my ears all night.
  3. Yes, I saw a video where he was asking the interviewer about her cancer, was really nice to her. Came across as really genuine.
  4. Yes, I wasn't a fan of his music but I do think he is a really sweet guy.
  5. The only thing I can say about Peter Andre is, I can remember I'm a Celebrity when he got it together with Katie Price…
  6. I don't really know much about Lampard but feel like he has been groomed by the elite for the more glamorous jobs. He might be a capable manager but won't know until he's worked in a more challenging situation.
  7. I've got the feeling that it was…I seem to remember the discussion on here at the time.
  8. That's why I have more respect for Rooney, than Lampard. I don't know enough about who is out there, but I'm sure there are plenty of highly respected women managers/coaches in the game who might be interested. She'd have to be tough to withstand the pressures of being that 'groundbreaker' but I'm they would rise to the challenge.
  9. I guess I see it in a similar way as how would a premier league manager cope in a lower league: without the luxury of such a squad of talented players, not such a big budget, and therefore have to make a team out of who is available to you.
  10. Ahh, I don't know when he moved away from there, probably early 1920s when he got married and moved to Knowle. Such a shame what's left of it…
  11. Grandads Team - Bristol City. Mum's dad grew up in Little Paradise, Bemmie and frequented the Gate until early 60s Dad's team - Bristol City. Although born in Wales, he moved to WSM as a child. Mum's team - Bristol City. Because her dad supported them. She did attend games in 1950s with my dad, her sister, and her husband too. Up the City!! Local team - Keynsham Town at the moment. I have a vague memory of going to watch them once as a child: my dad, my 6 foot 4 uncle, and two or three kids squashed up in my mum's old Mini going down to the ground. Your team - Bristol City. For obvious reasons. Kid's team - Bristol City. I don't have children but my niece now supports Bristol City, only from a distance though. We did go to Leeds away together when she was at uni there.
  12. the fact he even did that is an improvement!
  13. Like that Cotts spoke with both Jon Lansdown and Steve last year…
  14. Funny, you could hear him saying it.
  15. They don't make TV programmes like that anymore. Shame
  16. ok thanks. I don't have a telly, and it wasn't available on BBC Sounds. I had to find a radio instead. Yes I'm a STH too, it's seems like ages that I've listened to the commentary.
