Shame - was always going to be difficult with 10 men. Thought we handled it fairly well considering the circumstances.
I am sure it would have been different if 11 v 11 for the 90 mins.

Means very little because we have always beat you when it's mattered the most. I remember in October 1998 the season we went up to the premier league we beat you 5-0 at Valley Parade Lee Mills and Robbie Blake went along way that day .
ONE THING WE HAVE IN CONNECTION WE HAD A LEGEND IN STEVEN TORPEY PLAYED FOR BOTH CLUBS:) WHAT A STRIKER HE WAS IN THE DAYS.
This is getting surreal now

One game against a proper Yorkshire team they got dominated by ten men . they are expected to walk the league sheff u again they wont. as for Bristol city they weren't in the premier league for how long been ages we were in recent 2000's,
Mind you If we are so poor why aint you beaten us in the league since 1996?
Why do you keep banging on with that statistic? Means very little in the scheme of things!
Do the decent thing and log off

Sometimes things come back to bite you in the ass.
I'm enjoying the upturn in our form recently as much as anyone and very happy to see SC succeed - I would avoid dragging this thread up every time we win however, you've made your point numerous times recently (fortunately for us!!)
-
Full marks for perseverance but wrong again.
SC has 17 points from 14 games which pro rata is 56 over a full season and comfortably enough to stay up.
Unfortunately he is still clawing us away from the position he inherited, unless you think he is somehow to blame for SOD's record which incidentally was a pro rata equivalent of 36 points and relegation by a country mile.
Or to put it another way, SC accumulates 55% more points per game than SOD.
Other than the "we would have won a game eventually" argument, I fail to see how anyone can criticize SC yet defend SOD.
Do those stats include SOD's "honeymoon" period too? We did pretty well in his first 10 games, skews the average somewhat.

Wow what a surprise, great result. Didn't expect that at all, was assuming we'd lose badly again.
Well done City for proving me and many others wrong.
-
Why does he keep looking to his right..
I noticed that also; feels a bit like he's referring to the players "in there". I assume the dressing room?
-
Harewood out - Barnett in. Looks like a direct replacement to me. Only short term deal with a loan too so little risk. Definitely worth having "another club in the bag", looking forward to seeing him play.
-
He left us as he wanted to be in Scotland with his family.
Yes well aware, just a guess based on the fact he has been given permission to speak to Inverness.
-
Doubt he'd want to leave Scotland tbh. He is doing well mind.
Yeah think he missed it when he was a player for us. I hope we go for the right person and not some has been..
-
So who are we going to bring in, that's the real worry. Someone else set up to fail. I wouldn't touch the job with a barge pole. Oh and JET will go in January
Complete guess as I have no knowledge to suggest as such.. but Paul Hartley who has been doing well at Alloa has been given permission to speak to Inverness. Perhaps we are looking to swoop in there?!
-
Wow - didn't anticipate this right now!
-
Paid off a small bit of our outstanding debt as will the 500k plus we get for JET in January.
I'd like to think we'd get a great deal more than 500k! He could easily get 20+ by Xmas. Look at the rumoured fees for Bradford's Wells or how much Peterborough paid for the comparatively unproven Assombalonga.
I hope we keep him personally as I believe he's the most exciting player I've seen at City for years!

To the day I die, I will never know why we appointed Millen with such panic. One game into the season and still a great club for a big name to come in and manage and we panicked.
Totally agree - our stock was considerably higher at that time - should have done the application process properly and benefitted from it in the long run.

Good result after a shakey start. Appalling atmosphere considering we've just gone top.
