  1. Very good, very good. It's also the hometown of tedious cook (sp) Gary Rhodes and Jack Hues, lead singer of 80s hopeless-ists Wang Chung. The question is: will everybody have fun tonight? Everybody Wang Chung tonight?
  2. Bloody phone, Noggers. Was still replying about Rover's goal when we scored. Looked a bit odd on reflection!
  3. Not me. I'd rather have a bad loser, ungracious in defeat, then someone mumbling on about how it's all about the process, rather than the result, after a stuffing.
  4. We've been starting weakly for at least 5 games now, but this is ridiculous...
  5. That's certainly true, Noggers. The trouble is the "fresher legs" didn't really seem much cop today. I'd still like to see a pacy striker brought to the club. Need not even be our major goal threat, but just someone who can come on, give tired defences the run about and let our other strikers exploit the mayhem.
  6. We looked slower most of the time. Sheffield attacked quickly and incisively. Ayling, in particular, suffered.
  7. As Swindon's Julian Clary used to say: "Try sucking a Fisherman's Friend". Appropriate what with it being Fleetwood today an' all.
  8. I figured tonight could have an "after the Lord Mayor's Show" feel about it.
  9. I believe there's one free space in South-East London - or you could try rural Bedfordshire?
  10. I had a little peruse of the papers in the coffee shop near Paddingto.. Some nice profiles of our players. Flinty in the People; Fielding in the Torygraph; Bryan in the Indy. You can test if you're cleverer than young Joe in that paper. I wasn't.
  11. Nice to see Korey Smith playing a significant role in at least two of the goals. He looked like he was having a blinder too.
  12. Great stuff - and games like this are a very good reason for why we always SHOULD take the "tinpot" JPT seriously. What a confidence booster for the side and us fans.
