  1. C'mon City...come out guns blazing. For all that has happened regarding lack of transfers...when it comes to match day, the lads need our full support. We can beat this lot...believe it...it can happen...my coffee is kicking in....COYR's
  2. Kinnel...seriously...I said someone would score...don't tell me...caught on the break?
  3. Anybody else watching the Leeds live stream chat on the link...that GaryKelly2 is a bit of a lad...
  4. And that Bristol fans like a cross field pass but groan when it doesn't come off ;-)
  5. You need a friend their, to put their phone in front of the screen and Skype it back to you....worked for me when in Canada last ;-)
  6. Our biggest weakness is counter attack...so many times we are undone that way. We've got to get narrower when defensive. I was hoping to tell this to SC tonight...but unfortunately work has curtailed this, and Kylie Pentelow made me mess my only clean pants again....so info will have to wait til next home game ;-)
  7. Leeds....earliest memory is FA Cup at AG and bloke next to me pissing into a rolled up newspaper...which was nice 2-2
  8. Very timely thoughts WH :-) Unfortunately I can't stop letting my head run away with me, and can't stop thinking about who will eventually fill his shoes...time is not exactly on his side...and if we were to win promotion, someone of his ilk, would be required, but even better...time will tell...but I'm really enjoying the way we are set up to play... I hope we continue in the same vein. As for Posh... I really admire them...jealousy is such a horrible trait...shows what you can do, if you have good scouts looking at the lower leagues and a club that listens to them.
  9. Big game for us... and very telling...the big question for me, is, are we good enough to win against teams in the top half, without Wade Elliot? For me...he is the man who makes us tick.
  10. I don't want to believe the text I've just received via a source at Palace... Apparently according to them ( they being part of the coaching set up ), that Holloway was approached by us, after he got the sack their. So who knows... I wouldn't put anything past this board now...
  11. You can bet, whoever the next manager is will be a lap dog to the board and Lansdown. It's no secret that SL doesn't get on with SoD... this is his doing imho. I have no faith in this board or SL anymore... in fact I've always doubted their footballing knowledge...not their money. I feel sorry for the next manager having to work with this lot... I hope the fans realise it's the board killing this Club and not the managers.
  12. No... this is true... he's off. A massive mistake by the Club imho... oh well... I'm used to disappointment by this lot
  13. My own personal opinion...the reality is, that he'll most likely go in January. Perhaps the idea of getting used to it now, rather than later, so that it doesn't come as such a blow, is better. I read a quote from JET today in one of the national papers...can't remember which one, where he said something along the lines of not getting many games at Arsenal and he'd like to prove himself at a higher level again. Stockhausen also spoke of it again in todays BP... where he said Baldock would come into his own when JET is gone and him and Taylor would provide goals at this level... not sure I agree with that though.
  14. I've not read all the posts on here, so I don't know if it's been mentioned. JET may not want to leave. He came here because SoD built a team around him and allowed him to play how he likes. JET struggled in the Championship. Maybe if he has his head on, he's only 22... what about staying with City and trying to get them promoted next season...after all SoD has given him a lifeline. It could all go Pete tong again if he moves...better the devil you know if you get my drify. I suppose it all depends what's written in his contract and if City want to let him go for a fee. But it has to be agreed by both parties...
  15. Mate, I think i was a bit harsh at my response to your original post, and although you say no offense was taken, i apologise anyway. I think it was the straw that broke the camels back and i took all my frustations out on your post. To be honest, i wish like you hinted, that it was more of a debating forum.
  16. Like it's going to make any difference... How do you know the 'Director of Football' is not going to be hands on? It's just a label. This forum is getting ridiculous...It's full of attention seeking frustrated newspaper editors, posting up 'Headlines' trying to get you to look. So much bollox written on here:grr: Sorry mate, nothing personal...but none of us know what Steve Lansdown wants or what his directive is for the new appointment. With respect and no offense intended.
