Here we go….. this could always happen, just get behind the team and believe and you never know. They could easily win this now. The fans don’t deserve it mind…
Exactly, top of the league having your best season for many years and when they most need support…they pile out! Bizarre

I can’t believe how flat it is, both in the ground and on the pitch. Even now if Arsenal score they completely break the game open, but the fans and players look like they’ve completely given up. Really poor.
You can tell they all expected to turn up and just win 4 or 5 nil. No shots on target this half yet for Arsenal!

Very odd performance so far.
Reminds me of Joe Hart v Iceland, almost too pumped up. You want your keeper to be like your opening bat in cricket - calm, determined, do the simple things well and have a measured temperament whatever the situation, Alistair Cook like.

Is Ramsdale on the ?!

Cracking game this. He did appear to elbow Robertson and I’m sure will face consequences afterwards but why is Robertson approaching him and laying hands on him in the first place

Personally I'm not one of them. Simply cannot stand the way he willingly kills off any game as a spectacle. Respect for the turnaround at Huddersfield, but really won't shed a tear when he finally gives it up for good.
In fairness they beat Boro 4-2 and just won 3-2 away at Watford, didn’t see either but I’m sure they were decent spectacles!

They must be tempted to drop Crawley. Not sure who would open with Duckett but it’s the only player that could be dropped. Crawley is no opener anyway so they are only playing with one as it stands
Agree Crawley most likely, Brook has now made himself un-droppable as are obviously Stokes and Root.
Bairstow to open?!

I totally agree and sympathise with you, hope you are able to move forward in your life and I wish you nothing but health and happiness moving forward x
However greenwoods "partner" is different the evidence was there and she refused to go forward with it. How must her family feel?
She would have been a standard bearer moving forward for abused women, she took the money and lifestyle instead
How must she feel? Domestic abuse is far more nuanced than how you’ve portrayed it here. Making statements, having intimate swabs and photographs taken, speaking about private and harrowing experiences in open court while your personality, relationship and life is scrutinised.
Control, coercion, manipulation and isolation are all common tools used by perpetrators on top of physical violence.
‘Refusing to go forward with it’ and ‘taking the money instead’ are unhelpful generalisations and demonstrates a lack of understanding of domestic abuse.

Unlike the league cup ties we have to give Man City 15% don’t we?

He strikes me as a perfect fit for Brighton’s style of football.
No reason he can’t go straight to one of the so called ‘bigger’ clubs though, I can see him in a Spurs shirt before too long.

Cricket or nor cricket?
I can see both arguments.
Not cricket for me, never has been. I’d rather lose to the Aussies on the last ball of the World Cup final than win it by one of our bowlers doing that

This has 1-1 draw and replay written all over it….. Wait, are there replays anymore ? I seem to remember us going out to Fulham in added time last year ?
There are for the third and fourth rounds (I think!) but not the rest

Really like the look of Ahmed, nice action. At 18 he’s only going to get better.
As the great Shane Warne said to him a few years back, I’ll be commentating on you one day. Just a shame that didn’t happen as I’m sure he would love to see England giving this 18 year old leggie a go in Test cricket

Happy to see Ahmed play though a bit surprised as I read that the announcement was before Stokes got to see the pitch so they must be trusting other knowledge as regards Anderson dropping out.
Yes looking forward to seeing Ahmed, Anderson is rested with one eye on the Ashes now the series is won.

Why bring on Sterling instead of Grealish?
No idea

terrible penalty and questionable substitutions. Why Grealish and Maddison don’t get a go I’ll never understand

Brook is some talent
