  1. Yeah I like that City logo and the one you’ve got is a sensible price. it’s a bit of a seventies look (the logo). If we’d just gone with that and not the splat thing, I think there would have been far less grumbling. I’d actually not mind that logo on a change shirt - maybe go for a bit of a retro style shirt and at least make a theme of it. I also remember that BS would be able to produce at fairer prices…. Turned out to be BS!!!!
  2. Good point. It would be interesting to know the split between leisure/training wear and shirts. It seem more people are buying training/leisure than ever before. Also take your point about short timescales to replace Hummel but my point was more about consumer pricing… we’ve landed with a small brand at higher than normal prices for customers (well supporters actually). The club is making significant margin more from its supporters than other similar clubs (as shown above). That’s just exploiting a captive market. Man United/Adidas £60 Bristol City/O’Neils £65…. It doesn’t sit right with me, global brand Man Utd who never knowingly give a toss about their fans charging less than City…. https://store.manutd.com/en/manchester-united-adidas-dna-hoodie-black/p-1247691950446863+z-977-2346089174?_ref=p-FPP:m-TS:pi-PDP_RECOMMENDATIONS_1:i-r0c0:po-0
  3. It’s worse, it’s £40 not £30 for the awful splat logo….. plus postage!
  4. At least the strategy is completely clear - maximise profit irrespective of quality. Strike a deal with a low-end manufacturer and sell at an absurd price to a captive market (prices higher than similar clubs using better brands/quality merchandise). Hopefully there will be a big enough downturn in sales to hit the club and force a re-think for next season.
  5. Commercially, at club level, it would make no sense to pay equally. However, after watching yesterday’s dross I could make decent case for paying our men the same as the women!!!
  6. Phones are definitely not working.
  7. Good work! All better than the actual offering Quite why some posters have decided to be so spiteful in their comments, I don’t know… but feel free to chuck in any further ideas!
  8. Here’s their home kit. A template from Adidas but a really smart, clean shirt. Personally I’d prefer us to have something like this. Oh and Adidas products £10 cheaper than O’Neils? Not so sure about Bez and Shaun playing up top together though!!
  9. I doubt it is O’Neils. Something is wrong with the club that we so often have kit supply problems. I wonder whether we aren’t easy to deal with as a business and strike too hard a deal or don’t buy in the quantities to make us an attractive customer…. Working out way form the manufacturer’s priority list. All speculation but sobering seems odd.
  10. Is it me or do we have “supply issues” with every kit manufacturer??? What’s the common denominator here…??
  11. I see Man U have signed a £900m ten-year deal with Adidas…. Crazy money I know but I’d love to know how that compares with our O’Neils deal!
  12. This is how the club should be thinking. the bigger the club we sell to the lower the chance of a sell-on for a profit.
  13. The suspension bridge should definitely have been included. I like your second one - also the symmetrical date…. Just looks an afterthought shoved onto the left of our current badge. Never mind I’m sure the powers that be are listening from their tax havens.
  14. I’ve no idea why we don’t go for the same colour scheme across both clubs. They have added non-traditional red to their navy and white. If we added navy it would look fine. Both clubs could have the same training wear/jackets just stick a different badge on it. Ideally a better brand than O’Neils but those t-shirts look better than anything the football club has produced so far. Surely we could strike a great deal with a supplier?
  15. Blimey we’ve had some rubbish - Nibor, TFG, Bristol Sport, O’Neils…. Probably others I have erased from my memory.
  16. Yeah I remember how they used to be. I was joking. This kit is embarrassing in 2023.
  17. Don’t tempt them…… it’ll be dismantled Suspension Bridge or a cartoon coat of arms next.
  18. What is it with badly matching shades of yellow? The shirts look washed out, the shorts practically hi-viz!
  19. Stupid thing is that the green on the socks seems a good match. Overall it just looks cheap and nasty.
  20. The fact the rugby lot are also now stitched-up with O’Neils’ rubbish makes me think the deal will be for longer than any of us would like. I’ve said before that the only logical reason for this is that we’ve driven them down to a ridiculously low cost.. and the “quality” reflects this. Bring back Bukta!!!!! ?
  21. That’s how I read it - unfortunately
