  1. No crowds during COVID, little income. Couldn't afford to get rid and couldn't have got a replacement. Although it hadn't come anywhere near to a head by then.
  2. THEN COMMUNICATE THAT TO HIM!! Ffs. Nothing to do with his health imo. This has been rumbling on since well before his back/leg problem. Of course, it does provide the perfect smokescreen.
  3. I don't think so, Dave. And I don't think that you do either.
  4. As I have stated earlier in the thread, he is aware that he will not be permitted to.
  5. I have tweeted Lansdown, which is totally futile because his last tweet was August and he wouldn't give a **** anyway. Regardless, I have stated that if he makes @NigelGPearson leave after the job the he has done so far, I will no longer follow MY football club until he follows him. I would like to say that it has made me feel better. But it hasn't.
  6. No problem. If it is right, I have reached the final one.
  7. From the best to 'could do worse'. Brilliant.
  8. He made two remarks. One concerning his 'position', and the other concerning his 'situation'. The 'situation' remark referred to his health. The 'position' remark most certainly did not.
  9. I think he meant that Tinnion is between Nige and the board.
  10. Might as well let Lansdown do it himself. It's what he wants and I would love to see the outcome on the pitch and in the stands.
  11. Don't care. And won't until that family is out of OUR club.
  12. I fear it might well be too late.
  13. The first would be bullshit. The second would only technically be true.
  14. Following NP's comments yesterday, I sadly suspect that even if he isn't gone tomorrow morning, he will be after our next defeat, even if we win eight in a row first. It seems to me that Nige is bringing this to a head because he is aware that he won't be permitted to see his contract out anyway. If he leaves when his contract expires, then he will be owed nothing (financially, anyway) by the club. And presumably (I stand to be corrected), Lansdown would be unable to hush him up with a non-disclosure agreement. NP could say what he liked. Unlikely, but if he is sacked, I would absolutely love it if he told Lansdown to stick the rest of his money and told the world what is really going on.
  15. Exactly this. I hope they are reading. They can **** off.
  16. It's nothing to do with a *****ng sale. I'd put my house on it.
  17. 1. He ain't gonna read it. 2. If he did, he wouldn't give a ****.
  18. If they let this man leave then I will no longer be part of the 'we' until the Lansdowns have followed him.
  19. Good to know. Might give them a try. Thanks.
  20. For ages I have been recommending Passion Wok to anyone who asked about Chinese. Sadly, I had a delivery from them last week, and it was horrible.
