Perhaps with Tottenham to play they’ll make an exception with the quality facilities/pitch etc they’ll have. With u21’s you just don’t want to send them long distance to play on some substandard pitch which may increase risk of injury again.
Certainly some managerial changes have made the bottom of League 2 exciting, Cotts at FGR, Cowley's at Colchester, Robinson at Salford, Artell at Grimsby
All you have to do is play it before a certain date, you don’t get told what day you have to play it
also the original date was scheduled for the training ground too
Its a piss take as the squad was announced ages ago, how far back do you have to go through someones bloodline before its okay to have had a relative from Pakistan to get a visa without issue for India...
The main part that isn't good enough is that the game is being played at the training ground rather than at Ashton Gate, the whole point of the youth cup was that young players got to experience stadium environments and we're taking that away from our young players, its supposed to be the main event of the under 18's season.
May not have been on the OS but I'd guess more people would see it on social media and the academy account put something out yesterday that was retweeted by the main account
Or they just don't want wages being spent on players who'll barely get on the pitch, experience is great, but its better when its spent on people who'll play
Perhaps he doesn't see him there. Perhaps often back 4's are easier to coach principles into, out of possession style is definitely easier as we saw how we would drop into a 442, easiest OOP system to use.
Available players, if Knight-Lebel not deemed to be ready yet then he’s needed Tanner at RB, Bell probably not trusted for 90 at wing back, so until he’s had McCrorie allowing Tanner to tuck in he’s stuck with a back 4
My only disappointment would be him not being moved up to say league 2 if being loaned out again, he’s succeeding at national league level, he did very well against Stockport and therefore think a loan for the rest of the season would be a really good indicator as to where he’s at.
Again you say we're throwing money at it by loaning Twine without any evidence that this is the case We've loaned out Weimann covering you'd imagine is a good amount of Twine's wage so we've swapped one we wouldn't have used much due to his clause for an extra year and got in one that Manning will use.
You'd probably have to dig out a good few rows at the front of the upper tier where the media are as you'd need the first row of fans behind to be able to see over the people standing on the new gantry. Then you have the issue of the current gantry built into the stand unless you tried converting that to media area with desks running the whole way along
