The Quality of the City Shop - again! Compare it to Hull’s
TBW replied to Denbury Red's topic in Football Chat
Think it's time for a The Club Shop Sucks sub-forum... -
He came to a Bristol Flyers game a few weeks back along with Massengo, O'Leary, Dasilva, Semenyo, Wells and Vyner if that changes anything for you?

Weimann makes EA Sports FIFA 22 EFL Team of the Season
TBW replied to Nathandao's topic in Football Chat
The demographic who genuinely think FIFA ratings and awards matter more than real ones, yeah, sure. -

People who aren't legally old enough to drink, maybe... Who won't get used as he wouldn't link to many other usable options. -
And that's on them. Why should the club spend time and money on programmes for a select few who refuse to use internet?

FIFA 22's EFL team of the season* So... meaningless. -
The game wouldn't be that much shorter in real terms, if at all. NBA basketball games are 48 minutes long but take over 2 hours to play out. (and it's LOSE, not loose.)
-
Found them pointless once internet and social media became prominent. Not bothered by them being gone.

Good.

I bet these two find Mrs Brown's Boys hilarious.

Give it to the guy whose shed burned down with all his memorabilia inside.

I mean that it jumps from 2019 to 2022 so can't just add Bentley and Diedhiou on the end. Have to replace the entire plaque cus of getting the current winners put on it.
-
But they'll all be out of order now.
-
Why arent Diedhiou and Bentley on the POTY trophy from the past two years?
-
Wonder if it's been brought back or if they just do it when they feel like cus the names on the plaque seem to have some gaps in years... no sign of Bryan at any point or a winner last year. 97-98: T. Doherty 98-99: A. Brown 99-00: J. Burnell 00-01: M. Hill 01-02: M. Hill 02-03: D. Coles 03-04: T. Doherty 04-05: S. Phillips 05-06: L. Carey 17-18: Bobby Reid 18-19: Lloyd Kelly 21-22: Ayman Benarous.

What?... ? This makes no sense at all.

"I felt to take a break from City games, posts and news"... "if you ask me this was one of the most boring seasons in the last years. We really played like a bottom half team and we were never a real threat to our opponents. Boring football, not good in attack neither in the defense." How would you know?

"We're a selling club. Always have been, always will be" .....
TBW replied to Bristol Oil Services's topic in Football Chat
Really glad you started this topic, it's about time someone told it how it is and made us aware that we sell players. Why has nobody realised until now?! WE'RE THE BEST IN THE WORLD, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP EVERYBODY!!! What a joke. Every few months this statement is made and its ******* moronic every time. Who in this division isn't a "selling club"? Who in the bottom two thirds of the Premier League isn't one too? Why do you think we have so much power to keep everyone at all times? This isn't 1968. Players want to better themselves and aren't going to just sit around and hope for the best. Yes, surround them with better players, great... but where does the money come from to do that?! Sell the fringe players? For what? There's a reason they aren't playing. -
Can't say I'm too "in the know" about Ghanaian Twitter but certainly sounds it!

Strange that Jojo Wollacott starts for their national side then...

£10m is far too low. Can't see it. Kelly went for 50% more than that and don't defenders tend to have a bit less value? Scott is scoring goals as an 18y/o in a Championship side and starting for his England age group. Keep him if that's the offer we get. See him move up into the England U21s and look at the offers next summer.

From running for the PFA Players Board to retiring just one year later. Maybe with the low amount of playing time, a new contract wasn't really on the table? Also finished her studies in the area now so all adds up I guess? Time for real life and play for fun? A shame in your early 20s though.
