  1. Very good today, as he has been all season. Cam Pring man of the match for me though. Thought he was outstanding.
  2. He has let in a couple of dodgy ones, the WBA opener springs to mind. But, I can’t agree about flapping at crosses. To be honest, I feel much calmer with Max there, when defending corners and free kicks around our box, than I ever did with Bentley. DB is constantly glued to his line.
  3. More like Helston, we have a problem.
  4. I once asked a girl home who said no, because she was on her menstrual cycle. I said don’t worry I’m on my Raleigh…
  5. Is anyone connected to our club? Maybe @Marina's Rolls Royce. He’s one of the few who seems to cut him some slack.
  6. Living In An Island - The Boomtown Rats
  7. And Kevin bloody Wilson He wrote this straight after that match…
  8. Wonder what he cost in wages for that meagre output. Boils my piss when you think of what Lansdown,Ashton and Johnson pissed up the wall
  9. I'm not ITK in the slightest mate. Just a text yesterday with the information I posted. Thought the timing of that text, coupled with @Bristol Oil Services post were a bit coincidental, hence sharing what I'd been told. Probably bollyhocks.
  10. Just that a group of Americans who had made their money in “tech” were hoping to takeover, the whole shebang, ideally this month. The new CEO has been brought in early specifically to oversee it all. Could be horse ? . Who knows?
  11. Interesting post considering my whatsapp group has been pinging with rumours about buyouts this morning...
  12. Maybe he's Paul McCartney...?!
  13. I’d stand there til morning if I had half a million big ones in my back bin.
  14. Met him twice. Once just outside Ally Pally and once at the Circus Tavern when we accidently blocked his car in. He was great and spent about 15 minutes chatting to us. He called Helen Chamberlain over to talk to us as well, probably because we had similar accents...! In my experience a top man and without doubt the best player to ever toe the oche.
  15. He's not changed... 14h ago 19:42 Johnson vows to clear out 'dead wood' at Hibernian Lee Johnson admits he is "sick to death of the mediocrity" at Hibernian after they succumbed to a 3-0 defeat away to city rivals Hearts. It was a ninth defeat in 11 Scottish Premiership games for Hibs and an eighth Edinburgh derby in a row without victory, and Johnson, who took over as manager in the summer, has vowed to clear out the "dead wood" within his squad. "The ball was like a hot potato and to be honest I'm sick to death of the mediocrity. We need to move players out in January. "This is a wonderful club full of potential, with a great fanbase, good training base and a brilliant stadium and it deserves more. We need to make way better decisions all over the place because today showed exactly where we are. "We need outs. The outs are as important as the ins. Again the mediocrity we have got - I'm just being honest now. I'm in a place where I have to come out swinging. I'm not disrespecting players, but decisions have not been good enough (on recruitment) and we need to be better. "We can't keep being average at best. For a club like this, it's just not good enough. Everyone needs to tell themselves some home truths. It feels like a big club because of the media, the scrutiny, we are in Edinburgh, there's two clubs in Edinburgh. "But act like a big player then within a big club and have that bottle to go and produce, not just in training but in games." "We have got to do more, and part of that is a revolution now, not just an evolution. "I think the actual revolution is about getting the dead wood out and increasing the quality."
  16. They can take Chris Martin off our hands.
  17. You reckon we signed Sykes on bigger wages than Dasilva…?!
  18. “Did you go ballistic when Pep caked Kalvin Philips fat?“ Pep caked him fat? He’s only got himself to blame then…
  19. The FFS was in response to your rather juvenile offering "Pearson 'love-in' brigade" As for the rest, if you, or anyone else on here, honestly believes that this current squad is in anyway stronger than any squad that LJ had during his reign, well, words fail me.
  20. Good news. Pleased for you Netty Now **** off, we're all having a row!!
