Am I right in thinking (hoping) they’ll be the first team out of the entire league to be confirmed as relegated?

I doubt they’re worried too much about relegation as it’s only a question of time before they get invited to the new European SuperLeague!

Anchor Hotel former Tram termius
The plough (only pub to Ask me my age (I lied))
Horseshoe smallest of the 3
don't remember any of them being Gas or City
I don’t think any of them were considered solely G*s pubs as they were all frequented by lots of us RR & BAe apprentices (from homes across the city) from the RR college down the hill - plus a few students from Filton Tech opposite the Anchor during the week.
Weekends may have been a different story. -
I do wonder how much it would upset the Saggies if we had to point out to them they actually have red blood in their veins ?
Unfortunately for them not a lot of it gets pumped up to the couple of brain cells knocking about in their numbskulls.- 1

What are the odds for us to get beaten 6-1 tomorrow night?

One of our neighbours kids who is four has been learning Spanish during the lockdown. But he still can’t say please in Spanish, which I think is poor for four.

So are we saying this could be a masterstroke by Boris?!
Haven't heard much about Rugby? They still being played?
Is the racing at Cheltenham still going ahead?
I appreciate they’ve already had a few days of tens of thousands rolling around having a great time but it’s a bit odd that the ‘Sport of Kings’ gets the go ahead yet football in the same town gets cancelled.

Maybe the club would be generous enough to make the Robins TV (or whatever it’s called) free to everyone during this difficult time? Those who have subscribed should get a few free months next season.

b) I'm not sure that any British person is in a position to criticise any other country over the exploitation of countries across the African or Indian sub continents.
Funnily enough the retired army major who gave us the lecture on Chinese espionage yesterday concluded his talk by saying we were probably doing the same thing when we created the empire.....

Hopefully that scabby country has learnt a lesson. Doubt it though.
That’s what happens when you eat bats and rats.
Rather than push their agenda of extracting valuable minerals from African countries where they build roads and railways etc as a way to get covert information, they should put the effort in to producing proper food for their overpopulated country.

Another COBRA meeting today and looking ominous that major sporting events and other social distancing measures will be introduced?
Bad news for the Sags on social distancing - no more marrying your sisters.

I see Newcastle United have banned players from shaking hands at the training ground - something they’ve always done at the start of each session, to limit the risk of cross infection.
Seems a bit extreme at first but when you consider the players are multi million pound ‘assets’ you wouldn’t want to risk losing one, let alone be the poor individual who gets infected.
I’d have thought they would have made it mandatory to wash hands in sanitising gel before any contact amongst the players.

Has Storm Ciara done the Fewers a favour and relocated to Tent End to the proposed site of their new stadium?

On the day Jon Lansdown breaks earth on our new training ground at Failand it can't be long until Wally does the same at St Phillips.......eh Saggys.
What they all fail to understand about the fruit market site is it’s a real business and if they sell up to the Fewers they’ll need a new site - ready to move into on day one, from when they move out of St Phillips. So before they even agree to move they’ve got to find a site themselves, design it, get planning permission and then build it - and only then can the Fewers start to even think about cutting turf for a new home.
Timescale - about 5 years end to end?

It’s raining today. That must be a good excuse for a low crowd.
I think there’s also something going on at Bitton train station today, that’ll hit them hard.

Don’t forget Youngers Tartan... a truly hideous Scottish ‘beer’.
I suspect they may still have a few barrels (slightly out of date) of the stuff behind the bar at the Theatre of Tents?
