How many did Nige get, total? None this season, two last, two the season before? So 4 total?
Manning has two in seven games! I think we’ve solved our statistical mystery
2 in 3 home games?!

Do replays still happen in round 3 or has that been binned now?
-
Just read somewhere that the 15% rule can be overruled by SAG. Anyone think the Met will look to reduce our allocation in view of the number of other London fixtures that weekend?

I know i'm swimming against the tide based on peoples posts on here tonight but i genuinely thought we played ok today and should have taken at least a point from the game.
Preston and Birmingham were far worse home performances in my view.
We were shocking at Rotherham but scored a last minute winner so all was rosy. Unfortunately today we were on the wrong end of that and it hurts.
Lets give Manning some time and hopefully with a couple of good signings in January we can have a decent 2nd half of the season.
Tin hat on!
Don’t forget stoke at home.

Didn't know the result, but how did I guess Wolves had lost ?
Equally as surprising, Marco Silva seemed completely happy with VAR in his post match interview.

That obvious? With @Carey 6 saying he was told by shags I’m inclined to think it’s a goer…….
Put it this way, if things don’t work out for him at Bristol Sport I wouldn’t recommend he take up professional poker.

Phil Neal once played 417 consecutive games!!! Unbelievable
*Useless fact alert* He’s also one of a small number of players to have won the champions league/European cup 3 times.

It doesn't make sense does it? Is it the training ground, the training itself, the AG pitch or are we signing injury prone players? It's every single season and it is ******* our season up every time.
You can’t have the number of injuries we have every season and put it down to luck. There has to be an underlying reason.

Wow, how was a penalty not given for the Sykes foul. Wasn't sure from the South stand, but the linesman was in line with it. Shocking decision.
At the very least it’s in the ‘seen them given’ category.
Lots of our penalty shouts fall into this category.
If you analyse them individually you can often make a case either way. What I find baffling is that you’d expect to get a 50:50 decision to go your way some of the time.
We seem to get those big 50:50 calls go our way nearly 0% of the time.

It is my personal opinion that Nige’s card was marked when he described the transfer/wages policy under SL before he arrived as “stupid and unsustainable” in a pre-match interview even though SL clearly agrees but that given the financials involved, SL wasn’t prepared to pay up a difficult but performing employee. Extending their stay is an entirely different matter.
Words cannot express how much I rate this post. Bravo

No one actually believes LJ would be appointed as manager again do they?
Well I’d be willing to bet that SL’s shortlist for next manager looks something like this:
1) Mark Robins*
2) Lee Johnson
3) Internal candidate/promotion
*Not gonna happen

A guy I work with is a Baggies ST holder and said he’s not bothered to be losing Gardner-Hickman. He said he could make it but that he would be surprised if he did, and that he’s nowhere near Scott level which is no surprise.
I wouldn’t prejudge this one though, he looks like a logical signing of the type I’d expect us to make. Let’s hope we get him in and we can see the best of the lad.
If he was Alex Scott level he wouldn't be signing for us would he?

Robins is his dream appointment and has been for years and years.
I agree. Surely though there is zero chance of that happening any time soon, or even at the end of season? He will have better offers than us if/when he leaves Cov.
