As I (admittedly somewhat confusingly) outlined above, the terms and conditions of a season ticket permit the ticketholder to move seats up to 3 times per season free of charge. There is no requirement to notify the Club, stewards, or anyone else prior to doing so.

Therefore if you are an ST-holder and you have sat in your assigned seat (or area if your ST is in the unreserved area) then you should simply explain to the stewards that you are using your right under clause 10.1 of your ticket terms and conditions, and are moving seat for this match.

If this will be the 4th time you have moved seat then yes you should contact the ticket office and pay the difference between the seat price in E34 and your pro rata season ticket price.

Alternatively if you are flush with cash just buy a match ticket in E34.

what about those of us with season tickets in E34?? surely i have the right to sit in my designated seat?

What a good home win would do for us now. It would make two good away points seem fantastic.

Winning some games in front of your own fans is a must. Got to go all out to beat Birmingham.

Will take everything we’ve got and probably a change in luck for us to beat Birmingham at AG in the league. Think we’ve only managed it once in the last 10 or so attempts!!

Massive bogey side for us at home.

Yes, a lot of our players just arent very good! We have a few with a transfer value, but most of them nobody would give any money for, and they are on fat contracts here, which people wont match to sign them. Getting rid of palmer was great, but theres probably 10 more we just need to give away, then sign perhaps 4/5 players like wallace and swift who went to west brom who are recognisable good quality championship players. At least next summer there will be some big pay cuts happening to quite a few first teamers, and no doubt a few more will be off.

we were unlucky with the Baker situation as that is exactly the type of player we are missing

In an open game, City can compete with the best in this division, combining attractive, passing football with plenty of goals.

So why do we melt away against physical opponents like Birmingham and Millwall, who seek to stifle, bully and play the percentages?

Why aren't we mentally strong enough to be braver in possession and make better decisions in defence?

Rather than blame the manager, or be accused of being 'knee jerk' (as a regular FBC podcaster), I'd like a rational discussion.

    one word answer = recruitment

Birmingham along with Wolves and Leeds seem to be clubs who no matter what bad form they have been in leading up to playing us and usually with their manager under pressure somehow suddenly play like world-beaters and get a much-needed boost after playing us. I have a horrible feeling another of those clubs that you can add to the list WBA will do the same when we play them, it's almost like we have lost the game before we even kick off against certain clubs daft as that may sound, I'm sure that there are clubs that hate playing us as well for the same reason.

In our last 5 league visits to WBA we’ve only managed to stop them scoring 4 on one occasion. They still got 3 in that game ?

Academy product Joe Bryan scored in European (conference) competition last night for Nice against Partizan Belgrade.

Not sure who the last a) Bristolian or b) Bristol City academy product would be to have done that?

Magnússon is presumably our last ex-player to play in European competition.

Marcus Stewart for Ipswich in UEFA cup?

Christ this thread, it's pretty annoying but not the end of the world. Just do something else.

Visit an elderly relative, spend time with your kids, put a bag up your nose ... the choices are endless.

Yeh exactly. There’s loads of other sport on this weekend as well. Take your pick from F1, tennis, horse racing, cricket, rugby. Pretty much every sport you can think of except for football ?

I think if anything it lays bare the folly of not playing the football. Just as a proportion of football fans will be impacted by the Queens death, so will a proportion of Rugby fans.

So if it’s respectful not to play football, it’s by definition disrespectful to play the rugby match.

    Or am I wrong?

The only conclusion i can draw here is that football thinks it will get bad press if it goes ahead, whereas rugby doesn’t.

It's getting annoying that EFL keep putting us against newly promoted sides in our first home game.

    Sunderland 2022/23

    Blackpool  2021/22

    Coventry 2020/21

    Wigan 2016/17

    Millwall 2010/11

Not only that in most cases as well we always seem to play other promoted sides 3 or 4 games in.

Agreed. i would much rather play one of the ‘parachute’ teams first game. better to play them before they get into their stride.

If it’s like the Euro final last summer, there will be thousands- if not tens of thousands- of ticketless fans trying to get in. Presumably the French authorities aren’t coping and the French police, who could start a punch up at a children’s party, will be making things worse. But the primary problem will be scousers trying to get in without tickets. I’m pretty defensive when it comes to English fans- I’ve been England home and away since 1981- but  this is now becoming a very English thing and a very English problem.

    scousers aren’t english though apparently
