Him and Scott been v g again today, just nothing much coming off for Weimann & Semenyo up top (Martin not in the game).

Klose playing well, COD (and Martin) anonymous so far.

So many good memories from reading this thread. The most important have to be the ones from 76/77 already mentioned (1-0 v Pompey to clinch promotion, 0-1 at Arsenal opening game, 2-1 v Liverpool & 2-2 at Coventry to survive). One not mentioned worth a mention was beating the Gas at Eastville in the old div2 in 1974, blowing a gale with the wind behind them Gas 1-0 up at HT, but with the wind at our backs we come back to win 1-4. Many of the eventual promotion side playing.

IF we had won the last 2 games, which our overall displays really deserved, we would have been just 5 pts off the play-offs, full of confidence and in with a shout still... funny old game as they say.

Vyner marking fresh air when that cross came in, although you can also see how easy it was for Pring to play the pass for Semenyo before he got caught.

Really good performance, especially first half where we totally dominated. Shame that first Weimann then Pring make a total mess of 2 on 2 situations in injury time. Pring up to then had played really well, Andi had an off day with several poor decisions on breaks and missing the open goal in the first half. Thoroughly deserved to win and the style of football was really good. Klose has a great game. Not sure why NP mucked up the defence with his subs, as we had looked solid. Martin was out on his feet from about 60 mins and Andi was having an off day. So one of them off would have made more sense than taking off JD who has also played well.

No, should have just past it to Semenyo and he would have had great chance to make it 1-3. Absolute stupidity from Pring.

Pring you idiot, breaks and just needs to pass it to Semenyo, for 1-3 and holds onto it, loses it, and PNE break and level.
