  1. Yes so many better options than Weimann in midfield, obviously when either Williams or King fit, but as you say Alex Scott with Tanner playing RWB or Benerous. Weimann like Martin seems to have become automatic picks although neither's play justifies that (I know they are our 2 top scorers)
  2. Just to buck the trend I'd rather have KP in midfield than Bakinson or Weimann. Clearly though him and JD are done here, question of whether we can offload in Jan I guess.
  3. Don't often disagree with Ole's match report, but I do with this one. We had two good chances within the opening 2 mins, firstly COD miscontrolled an admittingly difficult ball when he would otherwise have been in on goal, then Semenyo poorly hit over instead of passing to other City players well placed in the box. They then score with their first attack and for 10 mins after dominated, but there in we were the better side in the first half, just lacking quality in the final 3rd. Even then Semenyo passed up a golden chance to level when inexplicably turning inside with the goal gaping for a first time shot. 2nd half we continued to be the better side and their 2nd goal was well against the run of play. So, for me, a well deserved point that with better quality in the final 3rd could have been 3 pts and Hull were top of the form league. This was miles better then the dross we had to endure at Sheff Utd.
  4. Despite the assertions of some on here, this was not a ‘sh1te’ performance. We were the better side after the opening 15 mins, just lacking quality in the final 3rd. Semenyo should have scored to make it 1-1 in the first half. Their 2nd goal came very much against the run of the play, weak defending by Vyner & Tanner. If we can get that level of performance but with better decision making in the final 3rd, we will be alright. Having Joe Williams back, to join HNM and James would provide a massive boost as Weimann was pretty anonymous again in midfield. Well deserved point.
  5. We don't deserve to lose this but we are losing it now
  6. total sh1te play by Semenyo again when we had good break on, simple pass not made,. Martin off for Wells
  7. Are you actually watching the game? We are playing OK in general, against the side top of the current form 'league', just lacking quality in the final 3rd. Another good chance wasted, this time Wiemann with an awful effort.
  8. They dominated for 5-10 mins after their early goal, and still look threatening on the break. We have been the better side since those opening 15 mins, should be level but Semenyo wasted golden chance and 3 or 4 other really promising positions wasted with poor options.
  9. HT 1-0 We had two very early chances, then after their goal they dominated for 5-10 mins, BUT after that we have been the better side. Semenyo should score with his golden chance. Wiemann anonymous, should be him making the runs into the channels but keeps being Martin who is not best suited to that.
  10. Afraid think you are right, Semenyo just displays little footballing IQ to match his undoubted great physical attributes.
  11. Actually think it was a good cross to back post but Semenyo not awake to get into position to take it.
  12. Based on his play so far, it might be a good thing if he has to go off for Wells.
  13. looks like Alex Scott picked up a knock and will be replaced by Tanner.
  14. A chance of a break and awful play by Martin gifts it back to the opposition
  15. What a mess Semenyo makes of a great chance to score
  16. Absolute rubbish cross from COD, after well worked short corner
  17. Wiemann doing his best Kilkenny impression, pointing everywhere but doing FA.
  18. Massengo arguably fouled so bit harsh on him, agree Bentley should have done better.
  19. Two early chances wasted and first chance for Hull they take with some aplomb. 1-0
  20. Now Semenyo in a good position with poor shot always going well over
  21. Early chance, but COD could not quite control ball from running away from him
  22. Ryan Lowe of Plymouth that is, with muff away to Rochdale in the FA Cup. 1-1 at mo, but Plymouth trying to play the game the right way, good pass and move and no panic 'hoofs' from their defenders when they win the ball.
