  1. We have nothing outside our own penalty box so far this half!
  2. HT and a lead. Mostly poor stuff, Forest looked the more likely and our goal came against the run of play. Martin been poor upfront, but did make one important clearance in our own box. Weimann gave the ball away twice in dangerous areas. Back 5 doing well. Wells looks lively. Hopefully Massengo fit enough to come on 2nd half. Great that Scott atoned for his awful miss.
  3. Wells shot saved and Scott makes amends for his earlier miss to put us 1 up
  4. wasted ball, after wasted ball, crying out for Massengo, or dare I say even Palmer to get on the ball and pass without panic.
  5. Weimann error, nearly cost us a goal, lucky to get away with that.
  6. Scott seems to have gone into hiding since his horror miss, had shown some nice touches up to that point
  7. All over the pitch really... one key aspect we need to address with any new signings come January - must have pace.
  8. Sky Commentator... Martin's feet were going right when he wanted to go left... just about sums up Martins mobility these days
  9. Scott play a thru ball for Martin, but no chance of Martin running onto anything!
  10. Not impressed as either Wells is being played wide or Weimann is being played wide and they are both poor options if not central, wtf could we not drop Martin to the bench.
  11. Massengo is nailed on starter IF fit, no time for COD for me (see other thread).
  12. Drop Martin & Weimann to the bench Start Wells up front, supported by Scott. Given we will likely have no HNM, Williams, King or Atkinson: Bentley Tanner Kallas Baker Dasilva Palmer James Bakinson Pring Scott Wells
  13. Weimann has scored in 2 games out of 12, having played 90% of the time in a central position. I'd wager than Wells would have at least doubled Weimann's scoring record IF played as a central striker. Wells out wide, like Weimann out wide, is a poor option.
  14. Fair that he picked out Tanner, Kalas, Baker & DaSilva for praise, nobody else deserved any. Wish they had asked him why Wells was bought on for Williams, cause that made no sense (I would have played Wells from the start). Playing Weimann or Wells wide does not suit either of them. Palmer, or Bakinson for Williams would have made more sense although Bakinson was typically lite weight when he did come on.
  15. He showed flashes of good play buy typically wasted his best moments - Pressed and won the ball to reach the bye-line, but then hammered a ball across that gave Wells little chance of getting on the end of it and being able to control it. Did well to win a Free kick running at them, to give us a good chance of swinging in a cross to be attacked, then takes the FK and fails to beat the first defender. He has had enough chances for me.
