HT 0-0.
Sooner Wells is on for Bell the better, or even Wells for Mehmeti and play Bell in his better position on left.

Alright. How we playing?
Unfortunately can’t watch the game… drinking my way round Barca!
Pretty even tbh. As against Hull, not working out having Bell CF.

Good ball in, well claimed by Max again
-
Have to say Cardiff look a much more decent side under this manager.
-
Weak header from Bell, which Weimann nearly gets on the end of.
-
Great claim Max
-
Bell is just not a CF, should have anticipated the bounce off the bar and been there to hammer in.

twice off the line, from Scott then Williams
-
we are hardly playing through the midfield at all, Williams needs to stop the hollywood passes and just give it to scott.
-
Mehmeti not doing well so far.
-
Sykes head over from what looked a good chance

Bell again?
Need a big game from him today.
Playing centre forward does not suit Bell's natural game, so much better when on the left and can cut-in. Trouble is that's also Mehmeti's best position. I'd have Wells over Bell as CF anytime.

I suppose the quirk of a long unbeaten run is that with every passing game I expect us more and more to lose - because, due one.
Been proved wrong so far - COYR!
we got the loss out of the way against Man City, so relax!

Expecting Mehmeti to start in place of Bell
Barring any knocks that would be my only change from side that started against Man City, although I suspect NP may start Cornick (for whom the jury is still out, in my book) in placed of Wells. Just hope we don't have Weimann starting in place of Sykes.

highlights on FA Player now, perhaps a bit lucky not to be behind at HT. Miss of the season by Hayles at start of second half, before she scored.

We were 8 points off the playoffs on Boxing day. Now we are 10 indeed - but with game in hand.
and that is after 9 games unbeaten in the league, which just goes to show that talk of reaching the play-offs is pie-in-the-sky. That said it's right to aim for as high a finish as possible and a top ten place is certainly on the cards IF we can maintain our recent good form.

Hard fought victory at a chilly Dripping Pan. Fairly even first half with City beginning to stretch Lewes prior to the interval. Second half was mostly City. Hayles shot over in the opening minutes, but was on target to slot in after 58 minutes. Thereafter a series of Lewes blocks prevented a second. The odd Lewes foray tested the nerves toward the end, overall a deserved victory for the reds and now 3 clear at the top.
Thanks for that, really needed the 3 pts given London City have better GD. Now they are under a bit of pressure to try and keep up.

felt we showed far too much respect and didn’t do ourselves justice.
Don;t know what game you were watching, but we gave it a real go against one of the best teams in the world. The fact we were still in the game with 15 mins to go, is testament to that.

FT 0-3, but we were right in the match up to the Vyner og 15 mins from time.
Kalas my City MotM, thought he was superb. Pring really good too. All over a decent performance, with some good football. Well done City.

No

Still in it, in theory. Not disgraced ourselves.
Yep, pretty pleased with that. Kalas and Pring both been first class, as well as Scott of course.
Sam Bell least impressive, had two good runs but picked wrong options and badly at fault for their goal, where he just switched off.

Strong Man City side, GULP!

If Man City are on it we could easily be slaughtered like the Woman were against them, 0-6 & 1-8 in their two cup games this season.
I'm hoping that's not the case and we can stay in the game for at least an hour, but to do that every player on our side is going to have to be at the top of their game.
