It was more his use of the ball, slowed everything down and never got off his usual cross field balls. Also his dead balls were awful, never beating the first man (as were James's). Thought when they went down to 10 he was the obvious person to take-off for Williams.

Frustrating result, esp. after Blackburn reduced to ten men. Don't understand why NP didn't use Williams, Naismith had a poor game. Vyner excellent in defence and effectively won us the equaliser.
