It was more his use of the ball, slowed everything down and never got off his usual cross field balls. Also his dead balls were awful, never beating the first man (as were James's). Thought when they went down to 10 he was the obvious person to take-off for Williams.

Frustrating result, esp. after Blackburn reduced to ten men. Don't understand why NP didn't use Williams, Naismith had a poor game.

Vyner excellent in defence and effectively won us the equaliser.

Frustrating 1st half, Blackburn well organised at the back and nothing much coming off for us in their half. TERRIBLE corners from James  & Naismith (who also wasted a FK).  Sykes not really in the game going forward. Can see this finishing 1-0, or 0-1.

What a terrible waste of a FK, just like his corners Naismith with a pathetic delivery.

Too many loose touches for us in their half, stopping us from building anything.

On balance of opening 30 minutes we are having the best of it, thought can't seem to get Sykes in the game much.
