  1. That’s bollocks actually, I despise nearly everything about their club not just their 5000 or so ‘die hards’. There is/was a flag/banner with ‘Ikea took the Tote End’...can’t remember whether it was a Swedish Flag or just on a plain background.
  2. The UWE that you wanted bad Has gone for good, I hope your sad. Sag into unsag
  3. ‘Stop me if you think you’ve heard this one before’ for all the tick tockers.
  4. I think ‘I know it’s over’ may be more appropriate. Edit: or maybe ‘I started something I couldn’t finish’
  5. I expect another factor in them choosing AG is that they get to spend time during their kids football match chatting to a Saghead on the touch line and they’ve probably thought “like **** am I letting my kids sit in a tent with you Sags on a Saturday afternoon”. We’ve got the best of both Worlds at AG, a fantastic stadium with over a century of history. With a lot of people a quirky kit and a nickname which could suggest to outsiders that you stink doesn’t really cut it. Keep up the good work Wally and co.
  6. We average more away support than them every season for as long as I can remember, that’s a fact. It’s published each year in various football related websites. You could trawl the Internet yourself looking for statistics but the next time they claim to have better away support than us why don’t you say to them “prove it”....they cant. I remember someone posted a similar question on Slagchat asking for proof of Rovers superior away support so he could go back to his ‘shithead’ mates and show them. Not one statistic to back up their claim, in fact they all did their best to sidestep the question completely and change the subject to Dean Windass and 1982 Sorry but your mates are standard deluded Sagheads. If they try and tell you our numbers are only bigger because they visit smaller L1 and L2 grounds just remind them that they rarely sell out their allocations in those grounds either.
  7. So this poster is saying that Rovers fans will only turn up in huge numbers if their team is doing well...doesn’t sound very loyal to me. Although you’d expect that logic from a thick Cardiff fan. Rovers have been higher than us and their attendances have never dwarfed ours. Big numbers home and away? 7k at home last week 2-300 at Bradford, Bury and Rochdale and this at Scunthorpe.... What a dick!
  8. Funny because, for such an amazing unique football club you’d think more people in the City they play in would want to support them instead of the pathetic attendances they’ve always had.
  9. Still banging on about our financial difficulties 35 years ago. Brave.... If I was a Gashead I’d be more concerned about the financial situation at Rovers right now. Detestable dumb bastards.
  10. Yes, how embarrassing for us....losing 1-0 in a Championship Play Off Final. It could be worse, imagine how humiliating it would be to get relegated from the entire Football League after losing 1-0 at home against a team wearing your kit....7 days after going off in your pants whilst celebrating staying up. Dick. Thank God I'm a City fan.
  11. Ha, that’s brilliant. “Look at this, they’re trying to rip off their own mates by selling tickets for a million quid...gert ******* teds”
  12. They joined the league about 20 years after us. I think it’s was 1920 or 1921? So yeah, they only managed something like 94 seasons of League football before that hilarious day in 2014. We’re the only Bristol club with over 100 consecutive seasons of League football under our belts. Rovers have got 97 more years before they can reach that particular landmark. Tick tock.
  13. 7.5k at home in L1...my word. Now I totally understand why their owners, the Bristol Post and every other ****** blows smoke up their ass about how supposedly amazing their support is.
  14. That's what he's basically saying. He also knows that in the mind of your average Sag he can get away with murder as long as he tells them what amazing supporters he thinks they are. They lap it up of course. Meanwhile this kind of public 'back me or sack me' move puts more pressure on the owners and deflects the blame from him and the playing side shifting it towards the boardroom. Maybe he does feel let down, if I was the Al Qadis I'd be furious if he was suggesting it on the radio. Hilarious.
  15. ...and in the end I expect they’ll probably get someone else’s photos back by mistake and will have to use a picture of someone’s gran sunbathing in Tenerife for one of their Sunday League cloggers.
  16. If you’re referring to the bloke who needed a shave that the Post did an interview with a few weeks back...I thought he was the ‘workie’ kid doing it all as part of his coursework?
  17. I was thinking this. How difficult would it be to take a couple of photographs? they're supposed to be a Professional Football Club. The only explanation I can think of is that the players without photos have asked not to be identified on the Internet as Rovers players.
  18. 1) Everything that is posted on here is seen by most of the turnip heads on Slagchat anyway. 2) The idiot moderators on their forum can't kick him off OTIB for the 'crime' of asking questions and expecting answers from their owners.
  19. Nice to do to Hull what Reading did to us last season. I'm still laughing
