WTF...why have they started that list from the second highest away following in League 1 today? I would have thought they’d be all over Social Media boasting about taking more to Burton than the 1700 we took earlier in the year....maybe they’ve got bored of comparing our away crowds?

I don't understand? We have taken 1700 on both of our last 2 visits to Burton. Obviously they ALWAYS travel in much bigger numbers than City....we know this because they tell us (and everyone else) all the time. Must be another boycott like all their home games?

A very quick Google search reveals a BP article from earlier this year ‘one year on from Matty Taylor signing for City’. In the article it states that LJ DID have to move house at the time because of death threats however it was unclear if the death threats came from City fans upset that we’d lost a few games or Sagheads going mental because we’d very publicly mugged them off by signing their best player for peanuts.

I didn't know LJ had to move house because of death threats? Sounds quite strange to me, especially over a bad run of games. Did that actually happen? Matty Taylor definitely had to move house, this was after his address was made public following vile abuse and threats online from foaming Sagheads who were throwing their toys out the pram. I'm sure the hypocritical belters won't mention this or their terrible reputation for racist abuse because they're convinced they're better than everyone else.

He knows it does, he probably figured out within hours of joining the club that all he’s got to do to become irreplaceable in the eyes of the average gullible sag is to come out with the same shit they do. First and foremost he’s trying to say “it’s not my fault”, something he does every week (usually just after saying he takes full responsibility). If they were actually interested and had the money they’d probably sack him, if he had the balls and the self respect he’d walk away. Neither will happen. What is interesting is that if they were on the brink of being taken over, surely he would know, in which case why say anything? I know if I wanted to buy the Gas I’d be a bit concerned that the manager was so prepared to throw his bosses under the bus, especially by publicly comparing them to a far, far wealthier owner in the same City.

Very true, look at the amounts spent by clubs like Villa compared to us. Try explaining to a thick Sag that Lansdowns wealth isn’t that significant in the Championship when we’re up against clubs with parachute payments and wealthier backers...you might as well bang your head against a brick wall.

We sold 8500 Season Tickets that season back in L1, that was after relegation from Championship in one of the worst seasons in my 30 years of watching City. They sold 5k STs after PROMOTION to L1. Yeah, really jealous of their ‘loyalty’
