  1. Reminds me of another thing for the list: Ashton Gate...Bristol City vs Manchester Utd, League Cup Quarter Final. On the same night... The Mem...Home Alone. Mind the gap.
  2. WTF...why have they started that list from the second highest away following in League 1 today? I would have thought they’d be all over Social Media boasting about taking more to Burton than the 1700 we took earlier in the year....maybe they’ve got bored of comparing our away crowds?
  3. There’s nothing Tinpot or funny about the Gas....
  4. Great shout, how could we forget that? So, so many hilarious gifts. I don’t think anything can beat getting relegated out of the entire League. The fact it happened against a club wearing a Bristol Rovers kit is beautifully symbolic of their habit of shooting themselves in the foot that has been with them for decades. Even hardened Gasheads have to admit they are ‘the Gift that keeps on giving’. What a bunch of absolute clowns
  5. They have been a League club for 3 ad a half years, so the open top bid fiasco was well within the 5 year timeline.
  6. 14 seasons. Facts are a real pain in the ass eh Sagheads?
  7. I don't understand? We have taken 1700 on both of our last 2 visits to Burton. Obviously they ALWAYS travel in much bigger numbers than City....we know this because they tell us (and everyone else) all the time. Must be another boycott like all their home games?
  8. Based on?? They weren't the bigger Bristol club when they were there, how would it be any different now? They talk some absolute shit.
  9. A very quick Google search reveals a BP article from earlier this year ‘one year on from Matty Taylor signing for City’. In the article it states that LJ DID have to move house at the time because of death threats however it was unclear if the death threats came from City fans upset that we’d lost a few games or Sagheads going mental because we’d very publicly mugged them off by signing their best player for peanuts.
  10. I didn't know LJ had to move house because of death threats? Sounds quite strange to me, especially over a bad run of games. Did that actually happen? Matty Taylor definitely had to move house, this was after his address was made public following vile abuse and threats online from foaming Sagheads who were throwing their toys out the pram. I'm sure the hypocritical belters won't mention this or their terrible reputation for racist abuse because they're convinced they're better than everyone else.
  11. He knows it does, he probably figured out within hours of joining the club that all he’s got to do to become irreplaceable in the eyes of the average gullible sag is to come out with the same shit they do. I expect the first bit of advice John Ward gave him was “you can get away with murder here son as long as you make out it’s more than just a job to you, tell them you love da gaaazz, hate da shit and pretend the fan base is something special...even though they’re clearly not”.
  12. First and foremost he’s trying to say “it’s not my fault”, something he does every week (usually just after saying he takes full responsibility). He’s already had little digs at the Al Qadis before but this time, rather than blame us, he’s clearly using the fact that SL puts his money where his mouth is as a stick to beat Wally with. If they were actually interested and had the money they’d probably sack him, if he had the balls and the self respect he’d walk away. Neither will happen. What is interesting is that if they were on the brink of being taken over, surely he would know, in which case why say anything? I know if I wanted to buy the Gas I’d be a bit concerned that the manager was so prepared to throw his bosses under the bus, especially by publicly comparing them to a far, far wealthier owner in the same City.
  13. Very true, look at the amounts spent by clubs like Villa compared to us. Try explaining to a thick Sag that Lansdowns wealth isn’t that significant in the Championship when we’re up against clubs with parachute payments and wealthier backers...you might as well bang your head against a brick wall.
  14. He was in the Hartlepool side that was beaten by us in the 2004 Play Offs. Probably still got the noise of the goal celebrations ringing in his ears. Louder than the Nou Camp according to Graham Poll (funnily enough can’t say I’ve ever heard the Mem described like that). Happy Days.
  15. Zero chance of either happening. They can’t afford to sack him and he wouldn’t have the balls or self respect to walk away.
  16. We sold 8500 Season Tickets that season back in L1, that was after relegation from Championship in one of the worst seasons in my 30 years of watching City. They sold 5k STs after PROMOTION to L1. Yeah, really jealous of their ‘loyalty’
  17. They’ve got no more ‘soul’ than any other football league club. As for loyalty City fans have proved time and time again over the decades that we are more loyal. Did I mention they had just over 7k at home in L1 today?
  18. Yeah that’s right, really jealous of their ‘loyalty’....just over 7k at home today in League 1. Pathetic attendance. What a moron.
  19. If I was a Sag I'd be firing the gun into my own mouth.
  20. What a ridiculous looking idiot. One for ‘up the arse corner’ in the Viz. Presumably these scenes took place shortly after a City defeat.
