  1. He was in the Hartlepool side that was beaten by us in the 2004 Play Offs. Probably still got the noise of the goal celebrations ringing in his ears. Louder than the Nou Camp according to Graham Poll (funnily enough can’t say I’ve ever heard the Mem described like that). Happy Days.
  2. Zero chance of either happening. They can’t afford to sack him and he wouldn’t have the balls or self respect to walk away.
  3. We sold 8500 Season Tickets that season back in L1, that was after relegation from Championship in one of the worst seasons in my 30 years of watching City. They sold 5k STs after PROMOTION to L1. Yeah, really jealous of their ‘loyalty’
  4. They’ve got no more ‘soul’ than any other football league club. As for loyalty City fans have proved time and time again over the decades that we are more loyal. Did I mention they had just over 7k at home in L1 today?
  5. Yeah that’s right, really jealous of their ‘loyalty’....just over 7k at home today in League 1. Pathetic attendance. What a moron.
  6. If I was a Sag I'd be firing the gun into my own mouth.
  7. What a ridiculous looking idiot. One for ‘up the arse corner’ in the Viz. Presumably these scenes took place shortly after a City defeat.
  8. It may be the case that plenty are against it but even if it’s ultimately turned down at least we still have a stadium that many visiting fans describe as ‘Premiership ready’. We also have an owner who isn’t just pretending to run a football club. The Al Qadis seem more intent on making them a laughing stock than even Higgs and co managed. That new stand, that’s in full view of the TV cameras, looked shit when there was a handful of people in there. It’ll look even more hilarious wrapped in yellow and black tape with a great big ‘DO NOT ENTER’ sign stuck to the front.
  9. Yes, yes...that’ll be it. ”It’s all dem gert shits fawlt” The worrying thing is that these idiots have the right to vote.
  10. Yes....the big difference of course being that we don’t go around boring people to death by going on and on about our away support as if it’s something special.
  11. Clearly the eyes of a complete moron then.... Well, that doesn’t sound very ‘loyal’ does it. I thought they followed their team in huge numbers through thick and thin? Obviously not, fickle plastic Sags. Love the fact he thinks they’d take over a thousand to Bradford
  12. It’s nothing special every other season mate. Still, next time we ‘only’ take 1800 to the Hawthorns on a Tuesday night for a match available on Sky TV you can guarantee there will still be a gullible few on here telling us “Gas would’ve sold out”.
  13. Travelling in huge numbers...”it’s just what they do”
  14. They often compare their attendances over the last couple of years with our attendances from the early 80s. The fact crowds were down all over the country at the time (including Eastville where they only averaged 5300 in the division ABOVE us) is never taken into consideration. 7248 home fans for a League 1 match is awful, especially for a club who’s fans constantly peddle the myth that they are super loyal and support their team in huge numbers no matter what happens. If they’d been in our shoes in 1982 after 3 successive relegations, losing matches, staring financial ruin in the face with crowd numbers down across the country I doubt their attendances would’ve got much over 2000.
  15. That ‘stand’ is utterly hilarious, and unlike the other small tent up there, it’s in full view of the TV Cameras so everyone can point, laugh and see what their owners think of them. That structure is their ‘identity’ in a nutshell. Still, 6th richest club in the country apparently ....that’s what their supporters were saying anyway. I bet they wished they’d kept their mouths shut now They never learn.
  16. Hahaha, that’s amazing. Just when you think it’s impossible for them to get more tinpot they build this. This must be part of that proud ‘identity’ they keep banging on and on about. A new tent in a ground they pinched, paid for by foreign owners who clearly aren’t interested. We’ll just have to put up with the Premiership ready stadium that’s been our home for over a century. Damn.
  17. 47029 was the official attendance. But they really can’t help themselves can they. Why do they lie constantly about attendances? Its bizarre.
  18. I wonder if they’ll be so principled if they get to the final?
