  1. Sainsbury had agreed to pay around £30m for the land as far as I recall. Far more than its true value probably, but £15m might well be a fair price for a prime residential plot in that location.
  2. When TC and the lads emerged in Chester's directors' box to salute the thousands of us on the pitch, that was without doubt my most emotional moment at football. Crazy scenes, I'll never forget. Corner turned, future bright.
  3. Loads of us reds in Horfield. I know one of my near neighbours is a fellow City season ticket holder, yet I'm not aware of any that go to Rovers.
  4. Confusing us with the famous Patchway North End perhaps? Easily done.
  5. You can't just bandy around factual statistics like that on the internet. They are the best fans in the world, yet you're making them look small time, amateur and tinpot. I assume there's been some misunderstanding. Oh no, you're right as it turns out.
  6. I had a dream that I was weightless. I was like "0mg!"
  7. Actually he joined them twice. Huge moment of clarity though when he soon realised he was better off having a radio career with the BBC than being assistant manager to Holloway. Er, no shit! I do like GT though, top fella, despite his patchy past.
  8. It's clear you're into great music and you follow a highly fashionable football team. Probably very well dressed as well. These people buy their clothes (and their cds) from George at Asda. How do you think that makes them feel? Inferior. I'd ban you as well, ya flash Shithead ****!
  9. This evening will be my fifth visit to Craven Cottage, the first was in about 1986. City have won on all four of my previous trips. A happy hunting ground for City and me, here's to our 'joint' run continuing
  10. Probably. No statistics have been published though, because no one in the world gives a flying ****.
  11. Totally agree with your first point Bill, City were simply outstanding today. I doubt many Championship sides could have lived with us on that performance, second half especially. Now, what were the other points you wanted to make?
  12. And the Tour of Denmark started today as well. Surely going to take a couple of thousand off the gate. Isn't it?
  13. I know you won't, like I said, you're clued up and nice. But sadly you seem to be in a minority of...hardly any.
  14. It doesn't make it alright. It's the worst excuse in the world. Are you deliberately missing the point and context? Which is that a large proportion of your gaseous chums irrationally believe all City fans to be thugs and hooligans. You're obviously clued up enough to know that's not true and to see the irony here.
  15. No drama mate, they keep banging on about how massive their crowds are and after a while the world starts to believe it. Well, those who can't be arsed to check anyway
  16. Rovers averaged 6,500 at home during Holloway's tenure, one of the high points in their 'recent' history. The **** are you talking about? See how the propaganda and disinformation seeps into the consciousness even of the opposition?
  17. All over already. Ah shit, that can only mean one thing. Time for Football on Five
  18. I was just saying the same thing. Nonetheless I am enjoying this evening session as otherwise it would have been a fairly miserable Saturday of sport. And Broad has acquired legend status this evening, which is nice!
  19. That's too funny. At what point does the hilarity reach critical mass and become nonsensically surreal and just not funny any more? I don't know about you, but about this time of night I like to slip a petri dish under a squirrel.
