Given the teams who finished in and around the playoffs, I’d say it’s the strongest championship for a while.

My, possibly ignorant, opinion was gained from reading this thread. It had been suggested that he was betting against his own team. Apologies if that’s wrong.

But it’s still a problem for football and that needs to be addressed too. I don’t think the ban given is severe enough. The outcome of these games can have huge repercussions.

He can work on any issues he may have whilst on his ban.

Forgive my ignorance but are agents a much needed part of the game? Could football manage without them? Couldn’t the PFA offer the same service which would keep money in the game?

Do you know if he was injured during that period or just not first choice? Number of games he was available for vs number of games he was selected for is important.

Whoever was responsible for signing him, he was seemingly signed without a plan for how he would fit into our team. It’s an era that I’m glad to see the back of.

The youngster is just that. Bryan is a lot more versatile than simply being an option at LB. We can do with both.

I don’t think it’s unfair to say Arsenal bottled it. They were so far ahead at one point but it’s clear to see that the pressure was too much for them. The fact that Man City kept on winning is irrelevant. Arsenal deserve some credit for even being in the title race though.
