Well it can only get better and cardiff don't look much of a threat. Usual 2nd half tempo from us and we will be alright.

Good. I like him as he seems to be well up for it everytime. Reminds me of Bradley orr. I have to ask...
Source?

I have my sources. No love lost between the Supporters' Club and the new owners, so they were never going to announce it at the Q&A for SC members only.
Has your sources told you who's paying for it and what the repayment plan is going to be? Serious question. Not looking to argue

Take away the uwe rent and interest to investors and before you know it there's another coventry on our hands.
This uwi shaped pie in the sky sounds amazing.

Does he not realise that if they build a ground and fill it with 20k that it still won't be enough to sustain championship football. Assuming they sell 20k in season tickets at 400 a pop, that's 8mil a year. That won't get you a squad capable of sustaining championship football.

Is there going to be a game where they don't get a pen or the other teams player getting sent off?

So bitter
I think it's more relief than bitterness. If we would have won that game then even they'd have to take their hat off to us and eat their words Re lansdown as it would have been mission accomplished.

I like how the presenter started the piece off by saying how they are used to living in our shadow. Gold that

So he categorically denies he's a billionaire. Will they all shut up now and crawl back under their rocks?

Should the impossible happen and gas get promoted, doesn't all championship grounds require a little more effort than what the mem offers?

I guess that depends on how we interpret never a problem.
i.e you think he never had anyone lined up, I suggest he has a list of contacts and it was a case of which ones would want to invest
Of course he had a list of contacts. He's an investment banker. It's just that all his contacts arnt enthused over such an investment

where was he begging for investors? I imagine as an investment banker he has contacts/knowledge of people who would want in on this sort of scheme
As for what they will get out of it, that does remain to be seen and depends on who they are
He's employed someone on a 6 figure salary to go out and find investment. This wasn't hidden or covered up in any way

Yep. There`s none as blind as them who will not see. Could you seriously imagine us putting up with this bollocks? I couldn`t.
I promised myself I wouldn't listen but I think I have to so I can argue with them all tomorrow with confidence. Probably still won't shut them up though. And no doubt they will all be playing boob cricket down the Wellington tonight after hearing that in 12 months time they will be above us in the championship.
Have a team ever been promoted from league 1 without spending a transfer fee? Even Burton paid 20k for someone last yr I think.

More bull by wally then with regards to cat 2 academy. But no doubt the blue few will lap it up. If he can't put his hand in his pocket for a transfer fee then how's he gonna fund 2 mil per annum to fund it let alone the initial cost of putting the infrastructure in place?

EARLY WARNING TO AVOID BBC1
On Thursday, Goeff Twentyman is taking his "Having a Gas" show to the Mem.
This is because that night BBC Bristol are holding a special preview screening of a film they've made all about the new owners of the club, the Al Qadi family.
Inside Out West flew out to Jordan to film with them at home, find out more about them, who they are and why the wanted to buy Rovers, what their hopes are for the club, what's the vision for the future.
This will be shown on BBC One ultimately, but we've got an exclusive preview Thursday night, at the Mem, just for Gasheads.
The club have been given 10 pairs of tickets for the event to give away to supporters.

On the gas getting these 2 kids in from Chelsea. Have these kids done something wrong and need a kick up the backside or have chelsea not done their homework? The training facilities and the horfield fallout zone will be a big shock to them I'd imagine

Let's wait and see whether or not they take 5k to mk.

With 3 or 4 in by end of the month, read 3 or 4 in with 10 minutes to spare as the gas are going to be the last resort.

Travelers of Irish origin are currently moving onto the uwe stadium site. That car park has come in handy after all
