This dunwald is nearly 23 and hasn't even had a sniff of the gas first team yet. Can' see us being interested in the guy

The Rovers chairman has effectively conceded Bristol dominance with his 'I don't see this as a two team city' comment.
Not even a mention of Championship ambition.
He must realise that we are so far out of sight that we arnt worth thinking about. Which is fair enough as I can't see the board of directors at Bury having that much of an eye on man united.

You probably did. I believe the same applies to our Academy as well. A lad I know was accepted into BCFC Academy in September and his parents had to find about £200 for training kit, etc. It's the equivalent of buying a school uniform for the sixth form.
Is that for all age groups up to and including under 18s? I can see that being the case for say up to under 13s but anything over that then we are fighting for players to sign to us and not go else where.

So all but confirmed that the family can't afford it on their own, done absolutely nothing about mem redevelopment other than have a nice little chat about it over a cup of tea, youth teams got to buy their own kit, Hanni pulls all the strings and it is clear the family chucked weal to the forefront to keep him out of the way and the chairman lives in London.
Missed anything?
Oh and it was dwaine sports decision to pull out of UWE and not the football clubs!?!?!?

Heard from a gas head today who claims to be ITK that Bodin is off to Cardiff in January and that they are trying to get Bath rugby to share UWE with them, I presume that means getting Bath rugby to finance it.
There is absolutely no way on earth bath will move to bristol. That doesn't mean that I doubt the gas have approached them though. They will try anything

So what does the Islamic Bank get in return?
As a co-owner of the house the bank is entitled to charge rent. However, as you buy out the bank’s share of ownership the rent liability decreases over time.Suppose the rent is 2,000 p.a., you will pay as follows:
Year 1 - 2,000 x 80% (bank’s ownership% during the year) = 1,600
Year 2 - 2,000 x 60% = 1,200
Year 3 - 2,000 x 40% = 800
Year 4 - 2,000 x 20% = 400
Year 5 - The asset belongs to you 100% - no need to pay rent.
The co-ownership factor has several other benefits as well.
So youre saying that instead of the gas paying interest they are paying rent. And as such we can call them rent boys again. That works nicely

I have just been reliably informed that when the horse punchers were in the conference their away support was bigger than ours, as ours that year was terrible, someone give me a doctors number I think I need someone to be sectioned
Ah yes. The year we took 5k to MK. Terrible support.

To be honest I wanted them to go through as every round creates a monetary loss.
But as it is we've just received our daily gift so we may as well laugh hysterically.

Perhaps they will reform and merge with Bath as Bristol & Bath Dons or something. Then they could steal Twerton and ditch the Bath name.
I'm sure it's crossed wally's mind to do that now he knows a new stadium isn't possible and he sitting on a gold mine in terms of housing development on the mem land.

I wouldn't take mags off just yet. Baker looks as though he could pull up any minute

I see the second half of their game was delayed by 5 minutes whilst they taped up a hole in one of their goal nets.

First they copy our “Championship sprinklers” and now they are attempting this! They really are hot on our heels, aren’t they..?!
What next..? 5 figure attendances and the owner spending some of his money on players..?
My apologies for such ludicrously OTT suggestions!
You know they are just itching to do player GIFs but they can't because we got there first

Forgive my ignorance but how can a rebuild of a ground be self funding? I mean i own a house. If i replace the roof, i pay for it so it's self funding but it has cost me money.
Because they believe if they build it they will come. Big fan of Kevin costner is our wally.

Great. Gonna be hearing about their championship ready team all week now and how Matty Taylor will no longer get in their side.

If I was looking for a club at that level to invest in Rovers would be well down the list. I`d be looking at the likes of Plymouth, Oxford, Posh or MK Dons for a start and a lot more before I got down to them.
I think wally is now thinking the same

Missed an open goal with a free header on Saturday. I don't think he's good enough for a promotion chasing championship team but the thought of us putting a bid in makes me smile
