Serious question, I'm confused why they went through the expense of putting this stand up for just 163.
Surely the space it has replaced could have catered for a larger number?
So they have actually decreased their capacity building this
Yes this is true. Capacity has reduced due to this contraption. Doesn't matter anyway as they never sell out and don't need the extra Capacity. It just allows them to charge 163 people a fiver more and makes it look as though they are trying to improve things.

Will be in north Kent in a couple of weeks time and a Gillingham supporting mate wants to take me to see them play the Gas, we will be sitting with the Gills fans behind the goal, was just wondering what might be the best songs to teach them?
Thoughts?
Ooh a relegation 6 pointer. No point trying to sing in the home end. You will drowned out by the 4000 gas turning up for such an important game. It's just what they do.

Would it be in his interest to score against them though? If they go down then surely he's on a pay cut.

Check out @Official_BRFC’s Tweet:
It's tinpot time again.
It's as though they just arrived for a week in Benidorm and hung the flag on their balcony.
Surely clubs don't do this? Do they?

If it's 3 levels down, Southern league I should think, tier 7. Didn't Hereford and Wimbledon start even further down though?
1. Prem
2. Championship
3. L1
4. L2
5. Conference / national league
6. National league North / National league South
7. Northern Premier league / Isthmian league / Southern league.
One division above Longwell green and Bitton I think.
That'll do nicely

Clubs that go bust can only be readmitted three levels below where they were when they went pop.
Let's hope they get relegated before they go pop then. What league would that put them in should they get wound up?

Certainly playing well at the moment, let’s hope he continues to improve, doubtful Liverpool would be keen on doing business again re Kent but with Herbie being City through and through may well help if we ever did express an interest. Unsure if we’d get him in Jan depends if it’s a season long loan to Donny I suppose?
Only on loan until Jan

Herbie Kane with 5 in his last 5 for Donny aswell, oh how he’d love to put one past them! Go on Herbie lad!!
Surely we have to try and get him in January? He's tearing league 1 a new one week in week out.

So he knows who they've got lined up as a replacement yet lists 2 names?
Not the brightest this bloke is he.
Assuming he means tisdale then he's even more thick.
As for Holloway I just can't see him taking a paycut from his media gigs to go back to that shambles.

I remember on the MOTD commentary, just before the final whistle blew Motty enthused: “It’s Perryman, he’s looking for TEN..”
Happy days!
A bit before my time but why was this 2nd div game on match of the day?

They better not have already thrown away the hex key they used that come with the flat pack.

Surely a good way to compare hardcore support is by counting season ticket holders? But I suppose they won't consider that due to the embarrassment that will cause.

For anyone who has issues with the link above having expired...
Bit of a confusing one...the drawings seem to show barns having a couple of bedrooms. Are the academy players going to be living on site?!?
So they've put planning in for residential dwellings but no actual plan for training facilities. I think this shows their intentions.
Also the plans show these barns take up 40% of the land. I can't see enough land being left for anything more than a single pitch and changing rooms to be honest.

If they sack him they will still pay him every month until he finds a new job. It is at that point that an agreement is usually made to rip up his contract.
Why would a club, even one with cash flow issues, pay the remainder of his contract up instantly? It doesn't make any sense to.

whats this out of date crisp things I keep reading about?
They were promised a new all singing all dancing food and drink outlet after a couple of they're original ones were condemned. When it opened they were selling out of date crisps. One of the many gifts.

Wally is just buying time and they've fallen for it. I'm pretty sure there would have been a few Chinese whispers if they had sounded out at least 3 sites for a new build.
Where on earth are they going to get the investment from? Surely the UWE fiasco showed them they have no chance of investment.
He's talking rubbish but of course it's been lapped up as new hope because he's such a nice man.
He's confirmed he's running the club as a business and he's not there to make charitable donations. His words. In that case they're doomed as a club in their state will never make a profit.
The training ground sounds like a no go. Already got plans in place to train elsewhere if needed next year.
The guy is a complete joker who doesn't know what he's doing. And as for the rest of the family, they only appear to be interested if there's pound signs flying there way.
