Def sang on a few occasions in second half.
Also at the end when players / Manning came over to the away end, a weird mixture of boos and clapping. I think boos for Manning and claps for some players who knows , bit of a mess all round

I always remember Danny Baker many years ago saying he preferred an end of season relegation scrap than playing teams in the last few games for the privilege of finishing 14th.
Not sure I agree with him mind!
I was trying to put a massive silver lining on our current plight
I agree with you @Lanterne Rouge

Well, for once at least the run in will be interesting!

Nuremberg. First time here. Bit of an odd place but parts are beautiful at night. Good food and beer obviously
Love Nuremberg. Been there for trade fairs. Try restaurant Bratwurst Roslein in the old town.
Anyway back tonight. Going 2-2. Conway brace. COYR

Soft goal but ball was out clearly of play in the build up ! Can't be too harsh on the defence, been great lately

First half was decent in general.
But still think we made the first 15 far too comfy for Norwich. They're supposedly low on confidence yet we let them settle nicely into the game. Would have liked to see us get into them from start.

I've got 3 STs. Last night mine worked, my son's worked, daughter's didn't work.
2 that worked still show Ipswich, daughter's shows Sheff Weds
Ah well, will worry about it 2.45pm next Saturdays

Thanks for sharing this @Blagdon red
Off to Cologne for a weekend in late Feb with some fellow City fans to watch some Bundesliga, so will have a closer read. Prost!

Bugger. Was aiming to go to this with my boy as we're visiting relatives up that way the BH weekend. Probably won't make it in time now

Westfalenstadion by an absolute mile, absolutely incredible support.
BvB.
100% on the support
The one time I went, I stood in the away end (Leverkusen) and view of the Yellow Wall is pretty memorable . Nice little pubs between station and ground too

Midweek, away from home, third game in 8 days, tons of injuries, makeshift team.
And we didn't lose.
What on earth is the problem?
Well said! Given the run of games, one fit CB, a threadbare squad...we've kept a clean sheet away from home.
Would probably have gone on to win if we'd have scored early.

My wife worked for JDRF (Junior Diabetes charity) back in the 2000s, where Colin was on the Board and couldn't say enough good things about him, and what a good bloke he was.

Masterclass in how to throw away 3 points. Should have kept attacking them after going 1 up. Baffling

True, but hopefully sooner than later.... points wise, we're on a bad run and getting closer to the bottom 3
Just need to be more clinical

I appreciate this is premature, but with the podcast i just listened to of the 3 Peaps `Jacki celebration..........it seems somehow apposite? Back in the day, we had an amazing forward line of Andy Cole and Jacki, but due to our appalling defending. and our penchant to constantly concede goals, the potentially league winning duo moved on, and the rest is history.
It just reminded me today, that we have a fantastic strike force and a wonderful midfielder in Scotty, but our defence is mostly inept, and apart from Scott our midfield is no better than average......so you would hardly blame the likes of Scott and Semenyo to look at moving on to new clubs....and the rest is history?
Hopefully my comparison is untimely and irrelevant, and our season will kick on, and things will improve, but the thought occurred to me that we are wasting some of outstanding talent due to the incompetence of our defending ?
A good post. Atkinson is our only natural defender i.e. he can head, tackle, hold his ground. Naismith is a midfielder masquerading as a centre back, Vyner's a trier but not up to it. Could really do with Kalas sooner than later.
Plenty of talent going forward though. Scott needs to play further up the pitch and Semenyo got us on the front foot. Wells had a good game and Conway has been a revelation. Reasons to be positive! COYR

I follow Hellas Verona, have been to about half a dozen of their games over the years, including one at the San Siro where George Weah scored that amazing solo box to box goal, as well as the wettest match ever in Genoa with @Olé and friends.
More of a Bundesliga watcher these days, find Serie A a bit too slow

What a fine looking hound. Agreed, pets are great for mental health. Whether I've had a good or bad day, love my morning and evening walk with the dog.

Morning all,
Just wanted to share this little video I made to help promote Talk Club, the talking and listening club for men to keep us mentally fit.
Luckily it was filmed before last weekend!!
Here's the Talk Club website if you want to find out more. There are quite a few clubs now running weekly in and around Bristol.

The depressing thing is, if you work on the basis that Baker isn’t going to play again, that was basically Tanner short of our strongest side.
Agree with this. Apart from RB, and maybe Massengo on one of his good days, the team looked alright on paper, yet on the field it was lacking
Back to the HPC we go

With you on this. Feels cut off from the action in the Upper Lansdown, but annoyingly it's best value with kids.
Plan was to move to South Stand for 24/25 but that's not an option so going to have to pay a little bit more and go for Dolman end blocks to get a bit more atmosphere
