That mud bank at Wigan was hilarious.
It had a “Rovers quality” (ie shit) little “stand” on top. I remember being there for a match (sure we lost !) where the rain was coming in horizontally.
Would anybody be surprised, that if in true incompetent 15ers style, the new “stand” failed to arrive, and they had to start the new season like that ? ??
It's Cardiff remember.
Sam Hammam did all he could to delay paying off debts accumulated during his tenure. Those debts were passed on to Tan , IIRC as Hammam carried on signing players regardless. Thorne and Kavanagh being two examples off the top of my head.
We chucked away a few points during the first part of the season; and those points could have made a big difference.
However, since Xmas, we have had a relatively settled side and system, and performances have generally been good.
Our game management has improved significantly during the second part of the season.
Overall, happy with this season, expecting better next season with a top 10 finish.
"We've got Sammy Bell, we've got Sammy Bell, we've got Sammy, we've got Sammy, we've got Sammy Bell,
And we got him FREE, and we got him FREE, and we got him, and we got him and we got him FREE !!"
I use the M1 and M2 metrobus for all games now, easy journey to and from AG. The new M4 metrobus has opened up a route for those living in Stoke Gifford as well.
M2 stops around 9.30 pm unfortunately, so night games means picking up M1 at Parson Street.
The bloke on the right is doing the "we are not worthy" gesture with his hands.
Only problem for Barton is that it doesn't appear to be aimed at him ! ?
