Our away form shows all the signs of completely derailing our season....

I didn’t realise until just now that Barnsley had won 2 out of the last 23 until today. It really is a must win today.... sort it out Johnson!

Massive game today. Win and results go our way and we’re right back in it. Fail to win coupled with Sheff U and Boro doing so and that’s pretty much it imo. City 2-0. COYR.

Really flat half, we’ve been slow and ponderous going forward. I’d bring Kent on at HT and try and get at them. Bobby’s not had anything to feed off all afternoon.

Massive game tonight, big challenge with all the games we’ve had as well. No reason why we can’t win if we really get at them, and then I hope we give at least 7 or 8 of these lads a rest at Watford on Saturday. One last big festive push lads - COYR

I can’t make it today. Last time that happened we hammered Derby, and the one I missed before was Barnsley where we were superb. So I’m going for a 3-1 City win!

It's going to be farcical isn't it. The train companies have been suitably accommodating and you have to give the city council credit for getting 13,000 runners on the road at same time as our biggest crowd in 40 years. Anyway on to the game. 3-1 City, Tammy with a brace.

Blackburn will already have lost by the time we kick off. And then we'll smash Brighton live on Sky. I'm going with my lads, can't wait.

It would take an absolutely catastrophic turnaround now, even by our standards! I don't think even Blackburn will even get to 48 points.

Know what you mean, I felt strangely emotional today as well. I'm no Johnson fan but credit where it's due. To be safe with 3 games to go from the mess we've been in is a fantastic team effort. A word for the fans as well. The atmosphere in each of the last 4 games has been absolutely rocking. Considering all the dissent and negativity post Preston it's been nothing short of amazing. We've been all over the shop in midfield. Taylor's been dropping deep as we've been over run. Might be a game for a bit of Tomlin magic. He definitely owes us a big performance. If he comes on of course. Massive 45 minutes coming up.

Dreadful half, like the horrors of winter. They need a rocket at half time, I'd bite your hand off to still be 4 clear at the end of the day.

It's another big afternoon, that's for sure. We may already have done enough on 48 points but I for one don't want to test that theory. It's a highly winnable game today against a mid table side who are out of form... exactly like the QPR game in that respect. If we match the effort and performance produced that day we should do enough. However this is City, and we rarely do things the easy way. I've long since given up trying to predict our results. If there's one thing we are, it's predictably unpredictable. COYR

I really don't know how I feel about today's game. Part of me is looking forward to it as it seems ages since the last home game. A bigger part of me fears a ridiculous, divisive interview from SL pre match and a Fulham-type result, atmosphere and performance which would be an absolute disaster. All I know for sure is that it's a game we bloody well need to win. COYR

I enjoy your posts mate, they're balanced and well thought out. When people like you are disgusted we know it's really bad. He won't go tomorrow, which will say all that needs to be said about the 'leadership' of this shambolic club. Absolutely appalling.

Johnson won't go, regardless of what happens. I've said it before but this is the single, most baffling situation I've ever known in 34 years following this club. Absolutely abysmal and Lansdown should hang his head at the utter failure he's overseen. We'd be no worse if we were penniless. At least we'll have the best ground in League One.

Seen worse lately. First 15 we were ok. After that, patchy at best. No idea why the goal was disallowed.
