Sounds like we are trying to break down a team who are not understanding they are a goal down! Have to assume they will have a chance at some stage or other, or at least push more forward, so need to come out strong at the start of the second half and take a real grip on the game.

Sounds like their tactics are to get everyone behind the ball, even at one down, and hope to pick up the odd scrap on the break.

Last man, taken out our player? Yellow. Sounds a bit lucky for them.

League Table looks good at the mo if results were to stay the same! Plus that game in hand over MK to play!

In truth, we are sounding much the better side at the moment. A second would be just what the doctor ordered.

Pleased with team. Harsh on JET maybe, but must surely mean Agard is pretty fit to start and JET like anyone else could do with a rest. Freman playing his more natural role behind the top two, a big one, and a fast one. All four of our strikers in the squad. Pack for Elliott, again a player looking like he needs a rest.

What's not to like.

Feel we have started the last few games to slowly. Hopefully we play well tonight and get back on track. If it all goes pear shaped, we remain top.

Deep breath. Have to believe there is a reason we are top, and have won a lot more than we have lost. If it goes wrong tonight, that will not have fundamentally changed. Re group for the next one.

Just been on the Sheff Utd forum and someone on there describes us as big and lumbering, and a worse side than Swindon!

Based on what they saw today, unfair?

It's just a reality check.  For weeks now City have repeatedly won without playing well.  This result only goes to show that can't keep getting away with by just turning up on the day.  They need to start playing well again.

Pretty much this. Oddly, three of Sheff's last wins have been us, Preston and Swindon. As disappointing 45 mins as we have had this season, but need to push on and take advantage now on Tuesday. The gap to Sheff 'should' be enough, although as a further aside think they have now played the top four twice.

Disappointing for sure, but hey ho. Would not swop positions with anyone else.

So what's actually happening down at the Gate today?! Are we just well below par, or have Sheffield Utd played like Real Madrid? 

 

Sounds like that JET shot that was cleared off the line near the start of the 2nd half was the turning point, go 2-1 up and I don't think we would have lost this. 

Would have been 2-0.

Just sounded flat from the start. Their goal came at a really bad time, and according to the radio was a foul in the build up, but just a really bad day at the office.

Just be grateful we are a pile of points ahead of them!
