Preston and MK now both 2-1. Any dropped points make the table look much better, as long as neither of them get a 3-2!
-
City need 2 more please to put some breathing space between us and Swindles and prevent them spoiling our top spot on Monday. Come on City.. no slacking please.
Would be nice of course, but 3-0 will always represent a good day at the office.
Firstly, Swindon need to win. Even if they do, the table will still look pretty good, with a decent gap to third.

Pack on for Freeman.
-
Right now, 6 points clear of third, 16 points above 7th! Long way to go still and all that, but had worse weekends!
-
Everything just seems to be going our way at the moment! Both 'first choice' forwards out, pick up a loanee I have never heard of, and we seem better than ever.
Fate is surely planning something for us. Just not used to it all!
-
Would take this right now, but any additional goal means Swindon need to win by more than one.
Sheffield 2-0! Turning in to a great day!

Idle JET
I know it was tongue in cheek, but was that before or after he popped in a good un!

Not so much they are creating much, but County seem to be shading this half so far. Do not want to relax to much.
-
Notts made all their three subs. Strong start by them to half.
-
Two more and they'd need to win by 3 clear goals
Not quite. If we win by 4, they have to win by two, and would go above us on goals scored.
Having said that, will take the win, bank the points and move on. Hoping for a lack of stress second half.
-
Sounds like Jet MoM so far.
Any result were we end up with 51 pts is a good one, but fingers crossed a fairly unstressful second half - although that is not exactly our way!
Preston drawing, MK losing. Any points dropped there would make it a very good day - apart from anything else, through the magic 50 points barrier!
-
Puuuuurrrrrfffffffect.
County moaning ball was out before crossed. Obviously, no idea, and do not really care.
Can we hope for a nice comfortable home win for once?
-
Sounds like we are all over them and JET's "on fire" ( not literally i hope ! )
Was thinking we were sounding comfortable, but could do with a second. The odd scare at the other end, and whilst it is 1-0...
-
Crawley one up against MK.
-
Big big assist from JET who set it up with a great run - according to radio.
-
Happy with the side, but a shame Agard or Wilbs are not fit enough for the bench. How injured are they - always assumed it was minor knocks.

Not since 13 September have we won a league home game by more than one.
Expect the same today, although can always hope!

Everton equaliser. Get in!!
91st minute.
-
Well well well. Who would have thunk it!
Was there out of interest an original date we signed him to, or is that it potentially now?
-
Wonder if we can break our three goal ceiling tonight?
-
Bryan and Elliott are definitely our most creative players along with Korey Smith. Losing two thirds of this really doesn't help the team but we still had the chances in the game to get something from it, both before and after a red card for our defender. Kieren Agard missing from 7 yards out, and not even finding the target is inexcusable for a striker at this level.
Crewe came out to do a job and done it. People whinge when teams play rough against us, Preston done it, Swindon done it, oh and guess what Crewe done it as well. What do we do, blame the ref and whinge, and as a result, we lost all three of these games. As a team we have to give as good as we get, but we are too soft, too inviting for teams and we don't get stuck in and roughen up teams. If you play physical against us, we are beatable, and more teams are seeing this now.
Think that is just to simplistic. Other teams have tried that on and we have beaten them. The even simplier reason we lost to Preston and Crewe. is failing to score when we really should have done. It happens.
-
MK are utterly ruthless.
Yep, whilst Preston keep getting the 1-0s.
We are top, and just sounds did not run for us today, Bryan, then Elliott, then the sending off.
Forgetting the cups, three 0-1s out of five in the league. Really need one of our scorers to get on a run. No need for panic, but very disappointing result today, without a doubt.

As it stands, Swindon will need to win by two. Really to early in the season still to lose to much sleep over goal difference, but would be nice to still be top Monday night.
Preston final score 2-1. Yay!
