We have started the last few games fairly slowly, so would like a faster start today. Fear a 0-1, expect a 1-1, hope for a 2-1. Pretty much covers all the bases!

I like the scarf waving! Bloody screen played about a ten minute intro, we all stopped, and started again when they eventually came on! Prefered the atmosphere at Coventry to be honest. In the top tier, and all our groups of fans seemed a bit segmented, and also more tense. As an aside, where we were, fans seemed to sit broadly where they wanted, and I only sat down at half tme. All good natured and no trouble from stewards at all.

Back to, and little to add to above. Smith got stuck in, but would have liked to have seen Agard have a run late on. Reported down here the ref apologised to Robinson for missing a penalty their end after the match Far to faraway for me to have a view on it.

Oddly, so was I, and would need to see it again. My instinct was that he had been caught, but certainly went down easy.

MK are pretty well versed in the dark arts at the back, and have picked up quite a few more bookings than average this season. Discipline will be key, and would not be surprised if it does not end 11 v 11.

Yep, sure - but how would that table look if we won! May just come down to who takes their chances on the day. Going for it, and ending up with a draw would be very different from setting out for a draw however - where I think we would come un stuck. Probably the best team in the league when a goal up, so lets get the first goal and see how it plays out.

Of course I hope not, but the win today means even a defeat next week is not exactly terminal. They would go one point above us, and we would still have a game in hand. It is however a chance for us to make a real break. Just keep doing what we are doing now and we should be fine.

First time we have won five in a row in the league too. Even taking the last ten, which includes those three defeats, its still 21 points. Whilst we all look at the big games, as long as we pick up points somewhere, it does not really matter. Compare that to MK, who have only lost once in the last ten, they also have 21 points and have not gained any ground, as they have drawn 3. Got to keep at it however - Preston 3 points from 5 shows how quickly a bad run leaves you having a mountain to climb.

Table looks really good right now. MK have only lost once in 18 in the league - that rather randomly 3-0 at home to Walsall, so going to be far from easy. However, its as much an opportunity as a threat now. The team I was most worried about at Xmas was Preston - and we are now ten above them with a game in hand! One thing we are doing is avoiding draws, which has got to be good.

Final score - 2-0. On to MK! Failing to win here would have put extra pressure on that one - no result there is now a disaster, but an opportunity to put some space also between us and the rest. To be honest, other than first 20 minutes, all sounded very comfortable - although does not always sound it at the time! First defeat for Bristol Rugby in other news.

Wins like this are what promotion are built on. Lots of football played, every excuse for dropping points today, needing to rest some players - and three more points on the board. Fan-bloody-tastic.

We don't know if at one level it was forced a bit. Either way, this would be a great win, however it comes, after all our games recently. All pretty flat at the moment - would be much much happier of course with a second!

Comfortable, but pretty flat right now. Would not be surprised to see Agard come off soon. Cannot comment on how he is playing from the radio, other than not heard his name for ages. Playing his way back to fitness you would think.
