O for sure! Type of team we have traditionally struggled against. Really pleased with the result but delighted with the performance.

Important not to over react to a defeat or to a win. It was Luton at home. It was an important win. What was more encouraging than the actual score, welcome as it was, was the nature of the performance. Progressive. Playing with some real purpose. Said it after first two games, let’s see where we are after ten matches.

Thought he grew in to the game and was very good second half.

Thought up to the sending off, it looked much more likely for us to get a third rather than they got one back. Played some very decent stuff. A win means we can breath a little. Well deserved, thought it was a penalty and a sending off for what it is worth. NP does seem to have that knack of whenever we really start to need a win we get one. Long long way to go, but that helps the mood a lot. Win the next one and it will be pretty high!

Could well have had a pen for 3-0, now it’s dig deep time.

Our most controlled half of the season so far. Going to feel a very different match if Luton by hook or by crook get one back, but marshalled them well so far, and looked creative going forward. Hopefully we can put in a second half performance.

Keeping the record of leading in every game at least!

Three games is to small a sample this season for sure. Today we were second best in the second half for large parts, but looking back, Conway hit a post and arguably had the best chance to win it. Thought we kept working to the end. First half, they really should have been down to ten and Conway had two decent shouts for a penalty. I though both could have been and the second was. We all can play football manager...for me he is not great with the subs when players are clearly tiring, No real complaints today. Plenty of struggling sides say this of course, but we do need a break. The art is getting through this season, Don’t know if we will, but that is the aim.

It’s a difficult one. I thought we might be a bit dull but very solid. No reason we should not be at Preston or Millwall level. In this heat I also don’t really get not making all the subs you can, especially when some players are clearly knackered. Not getting the 50/50s with refs so maybe been a bit unlucky, but want to see where we are after 10 games.

Was convinced we would lose that in et, but got a point in the end. Hard fought which sometimes we need, but turning 7 points at the half time break in to 1 at the end is not great. Very flat really second half.

Not much in it, other than our decent goal. Penalty shout I have seen given, usually against us, and should have been a clear cut red. We carry the odd threat on the break, they look they can sneak something. In the heat going to have to use subs well, but I would much rather be ahead than behind in it.

Not a day I would want to be out there running about for 90 minutes tbh. Good day to conserve energy when you can, and also of using subs wisely,

It is what it is. Winnable, loseable. Will be able to get to it with not to much hassle, but not exactly one to set the pulse racing.

I suppose given the results last night, very good chance of a lower league side. Anyone other than another Championship side would do, hopefully at home. Newport would do.

Our side is possibly closer to a first 11 than theirs, but not by that much, so very encouraging

Depends how things are looking after 10 I think. Would have to be very dire to cut lose at that stage, but it’s all about results.

Well FT. Very open match, far too open from our perspective. Sunderland deserved it overall. Two matches, nil points after leading in both. First half today thought we were ok overall, bar their very poor goal. Second half, just second best. Not going to melt down just yet, but unlike last week when it could be argued we were genuinely unlucky, difficult to not be quite worried after the way that match has actually gone.

Going to be one of those days. For goodness sake, had to score.
