Great… Perry yet another player we should have picked up whilst available for free a few years back. Alway rated him and always has a good game/scores against us! -

Vyner nearly scored albeit at the wrong end. -
Craig Shakespeare could only help our relegation battle if recruited.

January window will hopefully see HNM and Antoine Semenyo moved on. They don’t want to be here.. If we can use money to keep Alex Scott and sort defence and midfield then will be worth it going forward. -

Pearson has never managed under the financial restrictions that we are currently facing. I agree that his player signing record at Leicester was impressive but can’t see this being reciprocated here due to financial restrictions. I would like him to stay but his reliance on untested inexperienced players either through the academy or opportunist signings is reliant on the coaching staffs ability to get them to perform to where Nigel wants them to be. Nigel had very limited coaching abilities but his expectations are probably too high of these youngsters to perform week after week. That’s why he has brought in experienced pros he hopes having worked with his previous coaching staff will rub off on current squad??

Problem is I think at least Semenyo and Massengo will go. We might be lucky and hold Scott for another season. We will seriously struggle without them. Kalas, Moore, Baker, Vyner, DaSilva, Wells, Palmer all also likely to be moved on.. I can see us really struggling next season.

Do we have any dedicated defensive coaches?
