As you mentioned @spudski it amused me how he immediately pulled himself up on it with a wry smile. He's obviously heard the criticism of this particular phrase, but isn't suddenly going to stop using it as it's clearly something he believes in.

Watford comms said Pring was the best player on the pitch. I can't disagree, but so were Mehmeti, Williams, Dickie, Knight...

I heard it different and as “they don’t ******* bounce when we’re losing”. Happy if it’s your perception though!

The clip is still up on the official Facebook page. He says, "No, I'll start f*cking bouncing when we do something".

Cool calm and collected performance from AJ, as the commentators said, he looked like the old AJ from when he was on the title trail first time around. But does he beat Parker tonight, does he beat Dubois? The overall quality in the top division is at something of a low.

Parker absolutely dominating.

Stunning work from Parker

I've been reasonably impressed with Parker myself. The first time he hasn't bored me to sleep.

Good lord, I've just realised (and I'm sure it's not an original thought) but Frank Warren is Brick Top

Right onto next. This one’s the one for me tonight. If it goes long I fancy Parker
Well let's face it, Wilder's never going to win a fight on points

Good fights but I also can't stand the atmosphere or lack of it at the fights over there
Is pretty grim isn't it, the crowd look like waxworks

Think it's the first time I've seen Bivol. He's the real deal isn't he.
-
Some finish from Dubois, I missed the middle rounds where he apparently struggled a bit, but he looked better than I've seen him before.

Bigbury methinks.
Has/had connections with nearby Totnes.
As a sensible chap, he knows South Devon is best - although Totnes is in its own independent galaxy!
He could have called into my wood en route between those two places, to compare experiences of managing ‘work pressure release’ woodlands. Think Nige would have got on well with Keith Floyd who once ran the nearest watering hole to the wood!
My best friend in school's father was Keith's business partner at the Nobody's Inn and I once got a summer job kitchen portering there. Keith was amazing with me and said he would always give me a job in the future at the end of it. His television persona was just his off-screen personality too, and he always had a glass of red in hand. Somewhere there's a photograph of me and him in a very drunken heap on a bouncy castle. Legend. RIP.

We could also discuss players non Zlatan, although as that would be all of them but one, it might be rather a long thread.

Is it because of this thread that the like button has changed from a blue to a red heart? (That has just happened, right?!)

Fair enough, I'm genuinely surprised to see the likes in your favour, but that's what a forum means (sings in Morrissey)

I'm fairly sure that some 25 years or so back, the bar maids were not only in basques but topless as well on a Friday night.
The only reason i remember this (ahem) is that the place was so packed we only ever managed to get one or maybe two rounds in before heading off to watch the bands playing at The Fleece.
I for one am glad that that is not still the case, after 25 years and three kids
