BCC Bristol City Council, if I'm not mistaken. Nothing to see here, move along.

Some effort gone into that, I really liked it. Please try, I have so many questions

I really wish you hadn't said that. -
Wow. Simmonds Park. Scene of so many of my, er, formative experiences, if you know what I mean.

Okehampton Argyle? Despite living there and going to school there I have never heard of them ? Liskeard was always a bloody odd place too, where literally everyone drank chicory coffee, no idea why but it's totally true

England v Portugal - Women's World Cup warm-up match
Porto Red replied to shahanshahan's topic in Football Chat
I'm not particularly interested in it either, but there are plenty of topics that don't interest me much and this fact doesn't bother me in the slightest, I have no problem with @shahanshahan - or anyone else - posting about something he is passionate about.- 11 replies

There's a plebiscite joke in here somewhere -
Joe Bryan - Signed for Millwall
Porto Red replied to The hand of RO'D's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
No idea and it's not really relevant, just get the impression he might be totally honest about his motivations in the company of someone similarly perspicacious ie Nige -
Joe Bryan - Signed for Millwall
Porto Red replied to The hand of RO'D's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Not what I was getting at at all. I wondered if he felt that the all-star wage he can undoubtedly command wouldn't be better spent on the next big thing, sort of thing. -
Joe Bryan - Signed for Millwall

Just listened to this. Reading between the lines, although in fact it seems pretty clear to me, Joe expressed concerns that he would be a high earner at the twilight of his career and perhaps therefore not the best value for money signing for his hometown club, and he would rather take a last payday from someone else who he didn't feel the same emotional connection to. Just me who reads it like that? -
Jason Knight signed from Derby - Confirmed
Porto Red replied to Bat Fastard's topic in Football Chat
My daughter, who was born in Bristol to an English father and a Portuguese mother and has grown up in Portugal since she was 6, pronounced this until very recently as "trans parent", which always raised the odd chuckle. -
Joe Bryan - Signed for Millwall

Permission rescinded. Sorry Joe. -
Last couple of pages of this thread really slams it home how there is literally no other professional football club remotely like these inbred fucktards.

JFC, I actually feel like poor old Stevie Neville by decrying the inane pre-decimal drivel into which this thread has descended -

That's not set in stone. (Sorry Stevie) -

Took me a while but I knew there was a concrete pun in there somewhere. -
Big ask

Quite apart from the points you make, what on earth do those deluded weirdos base their undying optimism on? It really is hard to fathom.
-
Recognised the surname of course, didn't know he has a son in the game. Will be hoping that fight happens now.

Hadn't even heard of Tim before but I'll be following his career after this https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/1471578/ti-tszyu-stunning-first-round-ko-undisputed-clash/

Gary O’Neil sacked by Bournemouth
Porto Red replied to Super's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
I think you mean negligent, although, possibly, both are true! -
I knew something wasn't making sense reading the last couple of pages until I realised that some people have confused the incident with an 80 year old man not renewing which happened now, with the old Henbury Gas story about the imaginary person who was (attacked?) at Ashton Gate and miraculously became a Rovers fan instead.
