Personally I usually love the underdog to win - but I'll make an exception in this game and root for Bromley.

What is happening with their training ground? Last I heard, they were being turfed out and had nothing lined up for this coming season?
Also, excuse the probable silly question but what was our income vs wages £ / % ?
They train?

How little things change over the years. This is Whorefields history on Wiki:
3QuoteThe name is Anglo-Saxon in origin, and means "filthy open land" (Old English horu and feld).[2]
Horfield was a parish in the hundred of Berkeley in Gloucestershire, which included Bishopston, Golden Hill, Lockleaze and part of Ashley Down.[3]
Historically, the area had a reputation as a lawless place because Horfield Wood was the haunt of thieves and vagrants. The area remained rural until the early 19th century.
Following the 1831 Bristol Riots, during which the local gaol burnt down, Horfield Prison was completed in 1847. A permanent military presence was established in the city with the completion of Horfield Barracks also in 1847.[4]

Perhaps they didn’t lodge them online?
That would be in keeping with their tents.

As an old ex 'Woodie (in my 50's now ), Kingswood was definitely gas when I was growing up.
As an ex-Woodie now in my late 50's, I'd agree.

I live in Barrs court BR. Even here, the majority of the gas we see and hear are up around their 50's now apart from small groups. Pretty much all the young 'uns are reds even if their parents are gas. Chatting to a few gas tonight about this, and they're gutted but they don't blame the youngsters. Back in the day, we rarely saw a red shirt on this side of town, now they're everywhere.
The old gas think this will revert to type IF they get a stadium but they are also very realistic that they can't afford one and are losing a whole generation to us. IMHO, that will take some recovering from their side, all good for us though. Lose a generation, you generally lose the next one as well. Whether it's them being so bad or us having the facilities / higher level of football / potential, the younger generation are definitely changing sides and it's great to see.
Awww, I think that's so sad.
Ha, not I don't, Just kidding.

I thought charging for tap water was illegal these days.
Still, they`ll probably claim it was a generic version of 7-UP
You can't charge for tap water but you can charge for the containers, straws, ice etc.

Fanta-gate. Crisp-gate. Letting fans in for nowt by opening a perimeter gate-gate.
BTW, was anyone listening to the pre-match build up from the Kassam on Saturday? RB managed to mention twice in the first twenty minutes about `Rovers fans always travelling in huge numbers` and if that wasn`t bad enough actually referred to them as a sleeping giant!
Comatose dwarf more like.

If it's 3 levels down, Southern league I should think, tier 7. Didn't Hereford and Wimbledon start even further down though?
1. Prem
2. Championship
3. L1
4. L2
5. Conference / national league
6. National league North / National league South
7. Northern Premier league / Isthmian league / Southern league.
One division above Longwell green and Bitton I think.
Hereford started at tier 9. Ilkeston at tier 10.

As did Aldershot in that technical sense but there is still a club called Hereford playing which Hereford fans continue to support. That the limited company that previously owned Hereford went bust didn't mean that there was no Hereford to support.
BRFC 1883 can be liquidated, the AQs can realise their charge on the Memorial Ground and sell it.
The next day the supporters incorporate a new BRFC 2018, find a ground to rent, put together a scratch team and apply to play in the Conference the next season. With an average gate of 6k they'll be welcomed with open arms.
The club continues.
Clubs that go bust can only be readmitted three levels below where they were when they went pop.

The owners are plenty rich enough; they have just come up with this spurious reason for not putting money in because they only own 92% so they don't want to put any in (above that loaned and secured upon the ground) because the 8% don't have to.
They will grind them to a halt at this rate and relegation will crash whatever price they think they can get from selling.
As well as wrecking the club they are damaging their own finances. Still, up to them.
Don't knock Agent Wael. He's doing a great job.

And that's why you can't. They love their little echo chamber over there where all they can hear is the sound of their own voices telling themselves how wonderful they are. Even their fellow supporters who dare to voice concerns are classified as Teds, shouted down or cast out. Its the North Korea of football forums.
That's a bit harsh

This is Ashton Gate with 9,944 people in attendance last night (Dolman - empty, Atyeo - empty, Lansdown Upper - empty). Mind the gap.
Half of 'em are on the pitch!

The wife was in the kitchen the other morning cooking me bacon & eggs when I suddenly heard a loud thud.
Running in I found her collapsed on the floor & not breathing. I had no idea what to do.
Then I remembered, Wetherspoons do an all-day breakfast for just £3.99.

Only reason I can see why Wally pulled out of the UWE deal is that they will never own the land it’s planning to be built on, also UWE were due to receive part of the non match day revenue? All could be renegotiated again of course. If this Ed Ware was that much of a messiah as some are making out why didn’t he take over before Wally?
Maybe he was waiting for funding and his 4 numbers came up on the lottery last weekend and he thought **** it - don't miss what you never had.

Wonder if he travelled up on the CATs coach and couldn’t understand why everyone was in red!
Nah, he'll be used to travelling to games with a load of Teds cos we cause all the trouble at their games.
