Someone mentioned it earlier, can't remember who, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Nige doesn't want to extend his contract, has made it known that this is it - he's off to "spend more time with the family" and so the club have decided to tread water for this season so that the new man (LJ) can have the "nest egg".

Wilson didn’t work out as he was a bad trainer and couldn’t get himself fit enough. No good being an attacking full back if you can’t get up and down for 90 mins.
My Mrs says something similar.

Apparently he was offered the chance to resurrect his career with the Gas. However, Greenwood has turned down the offer saying "I have my reputation to think about!"

Or an engagement with a view to marriage...
Definitely like that, once you exercise the option to purchase (marry) you suddenly aren't getting what you were getting before.

I raised this on “X” recently as they were advertising Oxford tickets “from £10 for adults” and I said this is inaccurate as the cheapest you could actually pay was £11.25 even if you order online and print at home.
The usual “club can do no wrong brigade” had a moan back at me in the comments - standard !!
Well, the club can do no wrong. Stop moaning.
Thank you

It’s about time the refs were mic’d so we could hear the discussion and at least understand what they are looking at and how they’ve got to their conclusion.
VAR: Just going to look at that incident again
Ref: Ok, let me know how it goes.
VAR: No penalty - incident happened in Man Utd's box therefore nothing to review.
Ref: Ok, I'm going to book O'Neill for having the temerity to ask for one.
VAR: Spot on.

Put your pie charts and stats away Dave and study real football history.
We are some away ahead of them ...just look at the size of the ground catchment tradition, I could go on but I guess you will prove me wrong with some irrelevant stat.
Maybe he has his sights set on Oldham - after all they were one of the founding members of the Premier League.

Oh no. He’s an injury doubt for Saturday.
Since when did we start announcing that player's have picked up a knock in training? Usually that's one of the questions on matchday when x isn't playing.

I'd be quite happy to finish top - or win the play-offs, but stay in the Championship.

I dont get this "he is better than Bournemouth"
The worst thing for us is if he was bought by a top 4 team. We need/want him to go to a lower placrd team that will not be able to match his progressing ability as that means he will no doubt be sold on for a lot more than we sell him for and we get a huge sell on (Bolasie)
Yes seeing a team like Bournemouth buying our player boils my iss but we stand to make more money long term than if we sold him to a top 4 team who he would never leave.
Until he goes to Saudi for £300m

Would you except 20 mil from someone like Spurs, if they loaned him back to us for a season?
I'd accept 20 mil from anyone for anything. Whether the club would is another thing and I don't think they should.

Anyone watching able to confirm no knocks today? All the subs sounded very much about rotating but I couldn’t watch today.
Good win boys ️
Yes, I was watching and can confirm I have no knocks. Good workout lifting a few cans, and I'll be available to watch again next week.
