Pearson has never been relegated, give him a couple seasons blooding the youngsters who will get more experience at this level and he may have us at the right end of the table.
Anyone who saw the game won't be negative; early days and momentum now means nothing; as we learnt last year. Need to keep plugging away and see where we end up; the negatrons at this stage need to be realistic.
Great performance; we dominated that half and Bolton couldn't get put; was 2-2 should have been a 4/5 2 game; in all honesty we looked a class above them. Great pass and move stuff and Watkins looked class when he came on. Good point although we deserved more with our footy.
Okay I'll say it....anyone else have a niggly thought in the back of their mind that it would be good for bristol football if they snuck up through the playoffs?
First time in over 20 years I've given my season ticket to a mate and have found something else enjoyable to do. Never thought id say that but lost interest under Johnson.... Despite that I hope we smash burton 4 0 playing as well as we did at the start of the season giving us confidence, otherwise we are headed for l1.
Some perspective, for the small club they are. Two crowds of over 9k is pretty impressive. Last time they were in that division they averaged around 6k I think!
So in terms of equity then, they don't actually have the money to outright pay for the stadium when Sainsbury's win. Explains the interview on the news yesterday, didn't exactly sound positive it would get built.
