  1. I can see the current winless streak lasting for another 3 games at least with Middlesbrough, Coventry and Forest coming up
  2. To get out of these positions you need players to embrace them. See them as a challenge to overcome and not one to fear. They are playing the game they love after all.
  3. I do every time I step onto the 5-a-side pitch at Goals
  4. And where do we get tickets for that? Just asking for a friend
  5. I knew it wasn’t something VAR could get involved with. My point was that it was good to see just good refereeing without VAR sticking its nose in
  6. Thought it was bang on myself. The push was a yellow then Wolves had an advantage as they were on the attack so you let play continue then he commits a second yellow offence so I think the ref was spot on. I’m not getting into whether it would have happened against Liverpool or Man United players etc. The decision was the right one I think. Especially as there was no VAR interference either
  7. Not seen the game. What did he actually do or not do?
  8. This weekend for me just seems to highlight the sad state that most prem team players just don’t seem to get motivated by the FA cup. For all the spirit and effort shown by the lower league teams the edge is just taken off for me by the feeling the prem players just don’t give the impression they are really that bothered if they get knocked out
  9. I’m not trying to stand up for MM at all. I just want to see the EFL having powers to stop teams getting promoted if they are breaking FFP in doing so. If those kinds of rules are in place already then great …. actually thinking about it in doing that it also just highlights the unfair advantage that teams with PP have
  10. He does have a point about QPR. Same could probably be said about Villa too. If your beach FFP but get promoted you get away with it.
  11. The coach driver is usually pretty picky where he/she sits. …… or are you the driver?
  12. Not the most glamorous of games but one of the first City games I saw was the 4-1 win over Crewe when Bob Taylor scored an incredible hat trick. A Boxing Day 4-0 thrashing of Millwall another year was quite special. (Remember Tinnion running the show) Sadly can’t remember the year of either of them
  13. “Souness on the dole, Souness, Souness on the dole!” What a night that was!
