 Anyway what ever I’m sure players chosen will give us 100% commitment and let’s look forward to more shots than we’ve had in our first 2 games in league (3) and a bit more of that pace and skill that Pearson loves to see ( and us )

How much do you suggest we spend? What about lack of depth at centre back?
And by loosening purse strings do you mean lansdown put more then the 150 odd million he's already put in?
Is that in player investment or buildings and infrastructure because I believe we’ve taken more money in transfers than we’ve spent ,so yes invest a little bit more in recruitment but the right recruitment not some of the dross we’ve wasted money on . Maybe a couple of loans with the options?

Who do you want him to go and get?

Conway, Wells and Weimann that's 3 good central options to choose from, with some different attributes, youth v experience etc.
Granted Conway is out for 3 months and Weimann well when is he back.
Thing is could be Christmas before Conway back and weimann has been a great servant but hasn’t got the legs anymore

So we go back to long ball to a big striker who will be marked by two defenders of a similar size.
Pearson prefers pace from his players to outwit and outrun defensive lumps.
We’ll times have changed matey “ defensive lumps” are now athletes and move and turn just as quick as forwards and nobody is suggesting go long but at times it may be an option , haven’t our 2 league goals been going long ie long throws

Yeah a 20+ goal a season forward
They are 2 a penny so should be really easy to get one and shouldnt cost very much
Well let’s not bother then , seems other teams can do it ?

Mr lansdown it’s time you loosened the purse strings and allowed for a major signing up front,a forward who can hold the ball up and bring players in , a strong mobile forward who is a threat to other teams , we are one injury or suspension away from playing with a makeshift front line , poor Sam bell isn’t strong enough for the front line , Nahki wells get withdrawn after 60 minutes whatever he does ? We haven’t had a striker since big Dave so come on speculate to accumulate,Luton town did ok with a big man up top

My god what a fuss, this is why i took the easy option and got a physical ticket, i'm not one for this new technology nonsense, i'm thinking of asking for the old books that we used to have where you rip out the ticket for each home game at the turnstile
There was no problems at all at my turnstile on entry , everyone went straight in , a few problems were bound to occur ie people using phones back to front or upside down but the ticketless app works fine WELL DONE CITY

Yep club need to address this , we need quality food / drink and service because we’re paying for it and queueing twice for a pie and a pint is not on as there is not time

Half full? You really are joking. Get your eyes tested.
Exactly yes the odd seats were free but you can never tell as with tv screens on under concourse through out game lots are staying in bar area having extra few pints and watching on the tv , so fans are up and down all game so various seats seem free

Really? Maybe for a 5-0 defeat at Morecombe but now you’re exaggerating like a Saghead.Fact is, if they were a normal club doing normal club things and existing without constantly shooting themselves in both feet with an elephant gun any piss take thread like this would’ve died out years ago.
You’ve added to this thread plenty of times.
Is that not what I said usually after a few natches

Look good luck to em , albeit BAD but really do we have to have this on our site , I know the piss take is hard to give up especially after over 23 years of it but there’s generations of our fans who have never seen em play and we can’t really describe em as rivals much like notts forest and notts county - forest rivals are derby ? The blue few or without their stand fewer are really irrelevant to us ( even I have jumped on here after a few ciders on a sat ) but really **** em we don’t even need to know what their up to , not even if they break their record signing of Andy Tilson in 1992  . PLEASE dump this blog

Likely that it'll be close to a home sell out.
But PNE only sold 850 as of the weekend, assume they'll bring around 1k.
Yes Preston have now sold just over 1000 so why don’t club put Preston in the lansdown side of Atyeo Away from dolman , section off with netting and open dolman side of Atyeo for pay on day home fans and improve atmosphere

Such a shame the train overtime ban hit the transport home as I’m sure a lot more would have went but 1800 sold for a friendly is brilliant

Even if not is physically built in time surely it will take a while to get a safety certificate for it? They can't just cobble a few bits of scaffolding together and then charge the public to sit in it straight away.
I was up that way today so drove right inside there to have a butchers , not a lot going on but nice pile of rubble on what I would call open end  took picture but won’t let me upload

I think in the last 7 years ? It’s something like outgoings £125 million and incomings £78 million only going by Google transfer market usings tools available to check so yeh a shift of about + £40 odd million so yes I’d like a bit more player investment of quality
