  1. I don't believe he is a washed up "has been" but i do believe that he is not an upgrade on our former manager. But i am more than happy to be proved wrong, ultimately i support the team, and he is not someone who fills me with hope or excitement? He has no track record of any consequence, and i believe he is a typically easy option by the Lansdowns. I wish him well.
  2. So we get rid of a massively experienced manager, who had laid the foundations through his planning and foresight towards our future, and despite having one hand tied behind his back, due to no budget to replace losing quality players, and a coach load of injured first teamers, he produces a team who fight for each other, and once the injured return, will have a team of winners................and replace him with some bloke that that they found at a Midlands bus stop? Hallelujah!
  3. That was just a bullshit smokescreen....they spent 6 weeks doing nothing...and then thought...He'll do? About as much research as popping down the corner shop ............ha!!
  4. Yep............yet again it's a case of...he'll do? Totally uninspiring
  5. If this is true? What a let down. A club like ours should be casting its net widely all over Europe to find a young progressive tracksuit coach, like a Farke or Frank type (Yes i know that is a cliche).....but that is exactly what this club needs? Instead we take the easy option off of the merry go round of sacked managers.....no ambition no foresight? If we were intending to get rid of NP, why didn't we spend a few months looking at possible replacements, vetting them, researching them, and talking to candidates? Instead it's a case of who's out of job, and is gonna be grateful to be employed, and lets make sure he is a YES man who won't upset anyone? It is all so very tedious IMO.
  6. Those who fail to learn from History..........are doomed to repeat their failings? This is the Johnson/Holden debacle all over again? I sincerely hope i am wrong, ......but how can anybody have faith in these clowns?
  7. Well in that case, if it's a someone...........then it MUST be True?
  8. After reading lots of disparaging comments on this thread, I thought i would go back and rewatch Tinns interview......I am now convinced that Lansdown is working Tinns with his foot?
  9. I'm sorry, but this sounds like Fox News.?...........You can surely appreciate that this appears to be a case of not letting facts get in the way of a good story? Do you have any proof or factual evidence of your claims?....If this is genuine then i stand corrected, but i find this hard to believe?
  10. Maybe.....just Maybe.........him and The Boy are best buddies?
  11. No...........and i don't want to!
  12. Are you absolutely certain? It may just have been someone wearing a dodgy Halloween mask? Were they over 5 foot tall?
  13. Sorry ............it seems i must have either tautology syndrome or i am suffering from obsessive compulsion? ...............Or maybe i just cannot shut the pheck up!! My apologies for the repetitive post, I don't know how it happened....Ha!
  14. I vividly recall the image of Tinman sitting alone in the away dugout at Swansea for what seemed ages.......I thought he was going for David Blaines record of living in a plastic bubble without food and water for as long as possible? Tinn's was an excellent footballer, and seems to have a good eye for talented players, but a manager HE IS most definitely NOT!?

  16. "Everybody in the summer was happy with how we recruited"? Sorry Tinns, but who is everybody? The majority of supporters with whom i discussed this , felt that we were lacking a creative midfielder ( Plan B Tinns?), A Centre Forward (Not talking fortunes?, MOM for ipswich ...G Hirst £1.5 mill) and a Keeper to challenge O'Leary. Everybody i spoke to could see the weakness's in the squad, and saw that the inevitable injuries that we are prone to would stretch the squad, (even though most did not envisage the current clusterpheck?) Our squad was too small, and the addition of three players at relatively small expense, considering we had around a £30 Million plus nestegg could have made quite difference IMHO?
  17. Yep..........the definite image of a Rabbit in the Headlights?
  18. It appears Tinn's favourite word is Really? Everybody's REALLY happy with the summer recruitment, Everybody's REALLY happy with the squad................In a REALLY good place, we are REALLY competitive..Are you REALLY sure Tinns? Ha!!
  19. Jones or Rowett as possible managers? Now I am most DEFINITELY Depressed
  20. Am i correct in thinking that recruiting a Number 2 from relatively successful teams has proven to be a successful route for some clubs,? Such as Farke, Mckenna and Rohl, who has just been recruited at Sheff W. and of course an extreme example in Arteta, It just seems a smart way to go, namely appointing a Number 2 who has learnt his trade under a quality manager, and is looking to fullfil his own ambitions? Just a thought, but probably too far out and left field for Lansdown!? ................who would prefer someone cheap and subservient..........Ha!
  21. Swansea 7 Bristol City 1 ? Trundle scored 2...............Bit mean, i know Beale for me at 18/1
  22. I'm certain you are right.......... So great to see such an outpouring of love and appreciation towards such a genuinely talented nice guy on X (twitter), the lansdowns have treated NP appallingly , they don't like the fact that he is NOT a Yes Man?
  23. It was tongue in cheek......i didn't mean............to be mean!. I like both too, but it just seems that Forever are often quicker to the party?
