Cardiff City away match thread

We have no players! Who is playing ahead of him? -
The irony of murmurs within the hierarchy of the club regarding Kings inclusion and the restrictive self imposed playing budget set by the same hierarchy, resulting in us operating such a thin squad, I am sure is not lost on Nige. The hierarchy are fast losing the fan base. Give him a new deal and a proper budget to compete.

Pearson will be gone, he is a strong personality who challenges those around him, not a Lansdown type character. Unfortunately Lansdown will again back the wrong guy, yet again.

He reminds me of a young Alan Shearer. If I were England I would be sounding him out about changing allegiances.

Can't believe there is no post about Sam. Swansea could not live with him on the left. Made countless chances and scored a great finish. Many of our fanbase seem to doubt him. I think we have a real talent on our hands.

Apparently wages were agreed, they just messed getting the paperwork completed in time. Shambles but also hilarious ? Wael: Great lads, all agreed and welcome home JCH. JCH: absolutely honoured boss, a double Tilson. Wael: Looking at my 20k watch, we just need to fax over the paperwork. EVERYONE IN THE ROOM LOOKS AT EACHOTHER Gorringe: p p p p paperwork el president? Gorringe: oh shit! Barton punches the wall and leaves the portacabin.

Peterborough hopefully will take them to court due to their incompetence, the players value will be half what it was today with his contract to expire next year, plus they signed a replacement. Can't see Peterborough being very happy dealing with such a tinpot outfit.

Deal is off after them creaming themselves into a frenzy, like their crappy stand the paperwork wasn't submitted in time. Edit: Plus they let one of the strikers go in anticipation of a deal being done. ******* hilarious ?

He became involved with the club when we were in the championship. Great owner for the infrastructure, the rest has frankly been a failure mainly due to his own decisions. Happy to thank him for his time at thr club but it is clearly time for someone with fresh impetus and ambition to come in, if they are available.

How much will we get in compo? Any idea anyone? -
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results Sick of this shit, the same old with Lansdown, the bloke is totally cluless in relation to his on the pitch decisions We have people at the club, the owner, chairman and CEO (can't even recall his name he's that anonymous) who seem uncapible of basic communication. If Pearson walks I think they may have a mutiny on their hands and rightly so.

Yes, plus has played for England u20s last year. If he can fill multiple positions then it makes sense to use him at RB and then can deploy him or McCrorie elsewhere within the team. Looks a good signing on paper. -

That bloke of Twitter is quoting a £700k loan fee for the season, option to make permanent for additional £1.3m. -
Agree, I think that has been the strategy in his head. Unfortunately he has made a series of poor choices to implement it. We seem finally on track with the academy, recruitment and personnel, whether it works is for another debate.

I wouldn't be concerned in micro analysing every word of a SL interview, who is prone to going a little off script. We will invest and develop in young talent, sell where there is a large offer and continue to build, once strong enough we thrn make a push when we think it's the right time. Hasn't this always been the strategy?

That is some debut, if he is as good as those players over time then we are very fortunate.

When he becomes an England player he will again move for big money and make us another fortune -

I can think of probably 50,000 reasons he might want to move! It's a life changing salary, he is not going to want to stay. -
Anyone get Darren Barnard Vs Jim Brennan Vibes
Dynamite Red replied to Silvio Dante's topic in Football Chat
Sorry to be a pedant but wasn't it Bell and Brennan? I'm sure we sold Barnard to Barnsley then recruited Bell under John Ward, Brennan then broke through under Benny after Ward was sacked.
