We have some very promising talent, Benarous, Scott, Bakinson, Tanner, Atkinson, Massengo. Slowly green shoots are shining through after years of waste. Folks need to remember these players may blow hot and cold due to their inexperience at this level but a solid season behind them we will have a good foundation to move this squad forward. Just need a bit of patience when they struggle a little and would welcome similar signings in January, young hungry talent over the likes of Palmer and Wells.

What do the likes of San Marino get out playing in tournaments like this, I don't understand why Fifa don't organise a micro nation World Cup (nations with less than say 500k) so the likes of Andorra, Lichtenstein, Barbados, Bermuda etc can play meaningful games. The winners would then automatically qualify for the main World Cup.

Very true, for the money though you get one of the best first team Coaches available and a top quality recruiter both would be worth there weight in gold and would possibly transform this club of ours if given the time. Much rather appoint this pair and lose the wages of an O'Dowda or Palmer any day of the week.

I still like the idea of appointing Shakespeare as Head Coach with Pearson becoming director of football, this makes more sense now given the circumstances. This arrangement can then be reviewed in the summer.

We are a mess, players like Wells, Palmer, Kalas, DaSilva who are up there as our highest wage earners and not pulling their weight for their wages. Honestly apart from maybe Kalas I would happily see them all go. A waste of money. We have players who are clearly past there best, Martin, Simpson and King. Supplement them with promising but currently league 1 standard players such as Bakinson, Pring, Semenyo, Scott, Tanner, Atkinson. Now add no creativity or dynamic forwards and wingers and you can see we badly need an injection of quality. Can't expect to release a dozen first players in the summer and it have no impact. Utterly wasted our wages on overpaid shite.
